It’s a joke present for my husband. He took a DNA test and found out he was Scandinavian when the whole time he thought he was Irish :)Pretty good quality for the price. Great for a costume, just pop the horns in and you’re off!

This is a great solid plastic costume Viking helmet. PROS: its made of rigid plastic (some of the others are made of a softer floppy rubber), the color is very cool with gray and streaks of black, it fits my adult size average to slightly above average sized head, it's a good value for the price. CONS: the hard plastic can press on your forehead and leave a mark for short time after you take the helmet off (but the plastic is flexible enough you can squeeze the helmet and reshape it slightly so the front doesn't press on your forehead), it is a little top heavy with the horns and will fall off if you tilt your head forward. OVERALL: the cons are just what you would expect from a plastic costume helmet, as compared to a regular hat (baseball cap, etc.), and this is an excellent choice for a costume Viking helmet.

Pay attention during the next Reds celebration—even they lose the middle horn from time to time.

The media could not be loaded. I saw someone else on here add fur to this and so I tried it too. It looks fine without it but with the fur, it looks more authentic and expensive. I spent $8 on the fur. Very happy with this purchase!

Bought for my man and he's already tall at 6'2" so on him, the helmet looked ridiculous because the dome at the top (not the little spike) gave him an egg head and looked weird. It was very light weight and sturdy though; the horns all come disassembled then you slip them through some holes and put together in 3 seconds.

My grandson loves it. They are studying the Vikings in school right now. I had suggested making a hat but when he found this one on Amazon he didnt want a paper hat.

Won the contest hands down. It was a tiny bit big for my husband. I put an adhesive foam strip inside rim. Worked perfectly.So much fun to wear.I did spruce it up a bit by use of paint and small strips of fake fur. (Use your imagination or See Pinterest for ideas.)Great costume accessory at a good price with fast delivery.

I modified mine a bit, I glued Naugahyde to the sides and used copper tape on the middle section, I painted the horns ivory and added fur to the base of the horns and the helmet… I did not care for the middle spike so I left it off
