Surpahs 304 Grade Stainless Steel 3-Tier Stackable Cooling Rack Set

I used these in my Weber Smokey Mountain smoker (the large 22.5" size) so that I could stack several slabs of bacon on the lower grate. They worked perfectly.The gauge of the metal is substantial, the welds appear to be sturdy, and the overall fit and finish is great for this price point. Certainly better than paying a small fortune for that round "grill extender" product.Of course after a few hours in the smoker, the grates collected a tough brown shellac-like coating, so don't buy these thinking you can use them on the BBQ and then go back to using them as cookie cooling racks (at least not without a ton of scrubbing in between). But that's no fault of the product!

My old racks rusted, even though they were Teflon coated, albeit after many years. Found I didn't need the Teflon so thought I would give these a try. I am very happy with how sturdy and stable these racks are. My old set (from a different manufacturer) wobbled a lot and I had to be very careful about where I placed the racks and how I put cookies on them. These stayed in place and it was easy to add a tier without disturbing the rack below. Will update this review after a few washings, if my rating changes.

I bought these for $21.98 back in December 2017, which felt like a good deal considering you get 3 stainless steel racks. I’ve used these racks for cooling cakes and cookies. My brother has used this along with a baking pan for cooking steaks in the oven. The racks work well for those purposes and is easy to clean.The thing I don’t like is the legs don’t seem secure when opened outwards. I use the racks individually with the legs folded inwards because it feels more stable. And thus, haven’t taken advantage of its stacking property. The legs don’t lock, so they swing freely when lifted. If you happen to lift the racks with baked goods on it, you need to make sure both legs are in the position you want it in when you set it down, or things will start sliding towards the leg folded inwards.Also, something to note is, if you are putting smaller/thinner cookies onto the rack, you need to be careful as they might fall through if not placed properly or at the right angle.Pros:- oven safe- dishwasher safe- rust proof- no coating or plating- saves space- lifetime warrantyCons:- legs don’t lock when open- doesn’t feel stable when stackedNotes:- smaller/thinner cookies might slide through holesConclusion: Despite the legs being a little weak, I still really like this product. I love these racks! I wanted something that could go in the oven as well as serve as a cooling rack and this fit the bill. The stainless steel grade is oven safe and I use them to make wings all the time. I love that there are three of them and they stack. I can fit about four dozen cookies on them (with a little creativity and maybe a little “sampling”). I’ve had them about a year and I haven’t noticed any negative effects.

I (ignorantly) offered to help with the baking for a friend's wedding, but I ended up responsible for 250 cupcakes!! Without much kitchen space, I was starting to panic. It was a ton of hard work, but these space-saving wire cooling racks made it easier to handle a large number of treats!! I love the way they fit together, and I felt confident in the stability when stacked or spread out. I like that the layers can come apart, so if I'm doing smaller batches I'm able to use these!

Baking season is here and boy was I surprised to find these. You can use them one by one or if you're a baker like me around the Holidays then 3 is a must and you can stack them instead of having cooling racks all over your counters. You can also use these in your ovens while baking. I recently made Applesauce Cinnamon Ornaments and just placed a rack a top of a cookie sheet. Works Great!!!

I use these racks all the time and the quality is there. I've had these for about 4 months now and I use all 3 of the racks several times a week. Separately and stacked depending on what I'm doing, great for bread, cookies, pastry, anything you need to cool!

There’s a reason these racks are always out of stock they are the best. I stack them up to 12 high to carry them from upstairs to my Jerky room downstairs without worrying about them Toppling over. I can’t wait till I can order 50 more
