Great value compared to the name brands. Work perfectly with brio and Thomas wooden railway trains. Quality is fine - clear grain wood - no splinters - Fit is tight but not problematic. Smaller pieces and sharp curve pieces allow complex and interesting train layouts. (Previously we just couldn't get some layouts to fit.) Can use the ramp blocks to make a double or triple high bridge if so inclined. (But the support pieces are problematic when doing the triple high - you need to cut a piece of 2x3 the right length to insure stability in the support.) All in all, this set allows more creativity and flexibility than stock sets that come with trains. My 3yo grandson loves to build with me, already creates simple layouts, and I can see that over the next couple of years he will further develop spatial and mechanical skills as a result.

These tracks fit together well and stay together. The connection is more snug than the 4 other brands I tried, so they don't fall apart as easily if my 3 yr old bumps the track. Price is good and they're built well. Would buy again in a heartbeat! One thing to note: a few of the 3 way split tracks do have the plastic knob type connectors. Odd as all the other pieces are all wood. The pieces are visible in the oictures if you want to know which onea. Either way, they work great and are compatible with the Thomas and target "off brand" tracks I already had. Highly recommend.

Lots of varying/great pieces for the price, but a lot of them are rough around the edges so we had to sand them down ourselves to keep the kids from getting splinters.

I purchased this set for Christmas for my twin 2.5 yr old boys who love Thomas, and while we have a couple of Thomas trains which they love, I didn't want to pay Thomas prices for wooden track, and I'm so glad I didn't, this is a great set with a lot of versatility, and big enough for them to both play on at the same time. It fits Thomas wooden trains no problem and a few other (cheaper variety too!).

Great quantity and variety, but many pieces don't even fit together due to shoddy construction. This renders about a third of the pieces unusable, and those that can be forced into place easily break when you(r toddler) tries to remove them. So I guess these are good for customers who want a lot of tracks but don't want to take apart and put together new layouts easily and frequently.

A great package overall but a couple issues. The pieces mostly work with my existing track from the same company but there were about 12 or so that have ends too large to connect to other pieces. About 10 of the pieces came with damage to the connecting point sections of the track and while most of them can be used for now (they chip away a bit more with use), a few of them were unusable and had to be discarded.Even with these issues though, the package was a solid deal and provides a lot of track.

Comes with lots of pieces and most fit with our existing wooden track pieces, but the sizes of the knobs and holes are very inconsistent and we had trouble getting some of them to together. The risers could have been designed better, our existing ones were far better, but they are fine. The track also does have pieces with pegs despite a picture advertising one piece construction.

When compared to costly name banded similar tracks this is an awesome value! Tracks work with Thomas and Brio trains. Like other reviewers have said, some parts are off just a tad on the cut so they don't quite fit right. Youcan file it down to correct the problem. I only had one piece like that. Again, great value, limitless track designs with so many pieces.
