We purchased this a few months back to naturally get rid of a flea infestation that broke out after fostering an animal. We tried EVERYTHING, including bombing our house a few times in a week, borax, flea drops, flea baths, flea sprays... After doing more research on natural ways to rid your home, we purchased this DE.. mostly because it had good reviews and the price was right (It was way more expensive in stores).We used this to rub into our carpets, using a bristle brush to brush it in deep, paying close attention to all corners. We also mixed it in a spray bottle so that we could spray the inside areas of the couch, our bed and various other areas. After leaving it on for 24 hours, vacuuming & washing then repeating 2 days later, out flea problem was completely gone.We recently baby sat an animal, that once again brought fleas. This time, we had moved to a home with all hard wood floors. We used the powder in the coaches and any other area that fleas like to lay eggs, with the assistance of flea baths (dawn dish soap) and flea drops.. Well, bye bye fleas once again!If your looking for an alternative solution, try giving this a chance first. It works by penetrating the eggs, essentially cutting holes into them and like razor blade on the body of any flea that gets into contact with is. Very affordable and has many benefits!I mainly bought it for parasite cleanse and good digestion, and I'm certain that it has helped me! I travel a lot so I want to get rid of all the toxins that I might be picking up while abroad.Also I've noticed an increase in energy and just overall better mood when taking this.It doesn't have a taste, but the water does change color and looks weird when I put this powder in it.Would recommend to everyone!

I haved tried this Diatomaceous Earth and I am impressed. It does kill bugs of all kinds, including fleas. I put some powder on my Bichons and it has really helped with seeing less and less of those critters on them. Also scattered it on the floor next to base boards. I am sold and WILL buy more once this bag is used up. Love the product!!!!

Our dog is on topical flea preventive but I was still finding half a dozen fleas on him every day that I promptly removed after each outing. Decided to try this product. Within a few hours the fleas cleared. Haven't found one since. We will definitely keep using it.

I was worried it would be a small amount. For a pound it is a rather large bag. Its really fluffy is only word I can think of because its soft and light weight. Dose not have any kind of smell.Works well on the cats for flees. And noticed less of any kind of bug since I dusted it around house. I don't have to worry about except sweeping it up and natural around cats.A bit dring on mine and their skin but nothing a little lotion doesn't fix.Need a shifter not a spoon but that's fine.I sure there are many uses I want to find out about because such a large bag.

Bought this to get rid of fleas and parasites in my dogs and cat. So far they are behaving more lively and not scratching so much. My Shiz-tu has a lot of allergies and is constantly scratching and licking I rubbed this all over him and the scratching and licking have almost stopped. I've been putting it on him daily and his skin is really improving. The redness and raw spots are going away. I'm sure I will continue to use.

Okay so I tried a few natural flea products and after the last one almost killed my cat I was afraid to try another one, I searched for hours for one without cedar oil and I found this one. And with one of my two cats being allergic to the pesticides I had to try something. When I got this I put it on my cats and dog and they stopped scratching almost immediately! I have to get used to putting this on them more than what I do, but I love this product so much! I am glad I found it.

Seemed to take care take of the flea problem from the cat and dogs. Also layered around the carpet and was one of the few apartments in the building that didn't have a major flea infestation once pest control was finally called. I even tried to help a neighbor who had a cat, but he turned out to not know enough to raise a cat and his "keeping the fleas off him" was more like letting his cat become a flea utopia. So I combed out what I could and did his place like mine, but a week later his cat died. I don't think it had anything to do with this stuff, I kept yelling at him to change his water regularly and to feed him more and to change the litter daily or at least every other day. Not weekly or monthly. It was heartbreaking, and then another woman across the building from me locked her cat out her window and thankfully me and another responsible animal love her found a good home for him. But it's the third cat! Some people should not be allowed pets.. or children. Sorry for the sad tale. But this stuff helped keep my cat flea free and healthy!
