Grow1 5 Gallon Battery Powered Backpack Sprayer, Pressure Pump Sprayers, Garden Plant Growing Hydroponics Gardening Supplies

I need a sprayer like this one: small capacity and thus appropriate for use in a garden, on a cart so that it can be rolled around the yard, battery powered so that I do not have to keep pumping the sprayer but can quickly and easily apply the organic liquids that I use for vegetable plants and fruit trees. The basic design gives me exactly what I'm looking for.However, there are important problems: (1) the handle is a smooth piece of metal pipe that fits into a slot on the cart and is attached with large plastic bolts. The idea is that you can easily adjust the handle to different heights. The reality is that the handle will not stay attached and keeps sliding around and pulling all the way out. I have a couple of ideas of rigs that I can try but I should NOT have to work on a new and newly designed machine. The handle should work. (2) The user's manual is a translation that appears to be from an original written for Chinese farmers. There's a lot of good information there. There's a lot that is missing. (3) The sprayer comes with a small bag of spray attachments and two different sizes of rubber washers. There is no information about how to attach heads other than the one that comes already on the sprayer wand. (4) Most importantly, there is no information about replacing the 12 volt battery that powers the sprayer.The company that sells the unit has no information about how to use it and suggested that I telephone the manufacturer. I tried emailing from their website but have had no reply. I hope to have time to try a phone call. If I can get a handle that works and information about the sprayer attachments and battery, I will change my rating.May 1, 2014 Follow-Up: I called the company that imports these sprayers to the US. I was told that the battery can be removed BUT the battery was designed just specifically for this sprayer. So, another 12 volt rechargeable battery cannot be substituted when this original finally goes bad. I'm not sure if this information would have been a deal breaker for me. $200 for a disposable sprayer??? Since I already have the sprayer, I'll just have to hope the battery is a very good one. I will follow up later to find out how to use the various spray attachments and report back on that information.June 7, 2014: I have used the sprayer 5-6 times and found it worked for my needs to be able to spray 4-5 gallons in my garden. Today, it would not re-charge. So. The battery or the charger is broken. The battery cannot be replaced. The unit cannot be returned. There really is nothing to do but to chalk up this expensive mistake to experience. My lesson: never buy anything like this for this price made in China that is not guaranteed by Amazon. Working through one of their associated sellers does not work well for this product. The seller knows nothing about the sprayer. The importer is not much interested in helping the individual buyer or in providing information about the product. The product cannot be returned because of the possibility of hazardous materials having been used in it. There's no one at Amazon to ask about refunds because they are out of the loop. Buyer Beware, indeed.

Right out of the box and it won't pump water. Battery is charged up ok,the pump motor runs okbut, nothing comes out. Have been unable to locate any customer service for this thing. Thelittle user manual that came with it was written by someone who apparently doesn't speak English and isof little use at all. I have a lot of Roundup spraying to do every spring and had high hopesthat this thing would save me an awful lot of pumping but it looks like all its going to do is give me more problems to deal with.5/14/2013 Update to above: I have since repaired this sprayer. The tube from tank to pump motorwas severely kinked. I replaced said tubing with 3/8 id heavy walled vinyl tubing routing the tubing to minimize the tendency to kink. The disassembly and reassembly is somewhat tricky because the screwsare Stainless steel and thread into the plastic tank and care must be taken to avoid stripping the plastic threads. The sprayer now works beautifully. The spraying power is very strong but can be adjusted to very gentle with careful use of the motor potentiometer and the hand pressure you exert on the wand trigger. I have run 3 tanks full of Roundup through this unit and am very happy with its performance now.
