Essential Tool with a Value Price
I got this with a few other gadgets and I'm extremely pleased. Once again, Amazon has my number; by including this as an add-on at such a reasonable price, I thought, "well for less than the price of a fancy coffee, I could get something that might be quite useful. If it's flimsy, I'm only out a few bucks." Well, I'm glad I purchased this.The wheel itself is metal and quite substantial. It moves easily and is attached to more metal hardware and a solid wood handle. If you don't abuse it, you'll likely have it for YEARS.I use it to give a nice edge to homemade crackers and to trim dough strips for lattice pies.

Because of this wheel's small size, rolled cookie dough cut with it comes out of the oven with straight edges, not wavy edges.
