My daughter LOVES unicorns and needed a new robe. She is almost 6 years old, about 43 inches tall and about 40 pounds. After reading reports that this robe ran very small, I ordered the 10-11 since I wanted it a bit large with room to grow. The robe hangs about 1 inch above the ground and is pretty big on her, but doable - I rolled the sleeves up several inches and she loves it and will wear it for several years. An 8-9 would have been the better choice but I wouldn't have wanted it smaller than that. It's very soft and colorful and she loved all the detail except the mouth, which she felt looked like a "pig nose" (and it kind of does). Definitely a nice option for the money and does run small, just not THAT small.

This bathrobe is very cute. Anyway the material doesn’t absorb water. Also, the size runs too small. I got 10/11 for my daughter 7 years and it fit right. When my daughter use this bathrobe, after a shower, she needs to use an additional towel to dry herself. I don’t recommend.

Here's the scenario: 3-year-old gets out of the bath tub, dries herself for 2.5 seconds despite anyone's best efforts to actually dry her, runs around bare-ass naked until she realizes that she's freezing, then launches into a whine-fest about wanting the footie pajamas. I remind her that she always gets hot in those PJs, and since she can't take them off herself, I suggest more sensible PJs. She won't hear of it, she whines for the footies, and my wife usually gives in. 5 minutes after saying goodnight, I inevitably hear "Daddy! I'm hot!". Y'all, I was so sick of this.I discovered this robe and I thought maybe...JUST MAYBE! I could get her to put this on after getting out of the tub and avoid the aforementioned footie shenanigans. She absolutely loves the thing. It's very soft. She's pretty tiny for her age, but the 5 year old one (only size that was available when I ordered) fit her pretty well after rolling up the sleeves. She wears it in the morning, she wears it at night, she'd probably wear it to preschool if I let her. Money well spent. Y'all know Imma hide those damn footies as soon as I can!

super soft, got as a gift for a friends daughter, so cool! The hood isn't formed like a stuffed animal which I think is easier to wash and stuff.

I bought this for my friend's 5-year old daughter, along with a unicorn stuffed animal for her birthday. The robe was pretty wrinkly due to packaging, understandably, so I threw it in the dryer on low with a dryer sheet and it came out soft, fluffy, and wrinkle-free. She absolutely loved it. I got the size for 5-year olds and it fit well, with a little room to grow, so she should be able to wear it for quite awhile.

My niece LOVES this robe. She always comments on how soft it feels when she wears it. PAY ATTENTION TO THE SIZING AS THEY RUN VERY, VERY SMALL! The company gives the measurements so you need to look at the numbers and not the sizes - I ended up buying a size 8/9 years old and it fit her perfectly (she is a long and lean 6 year old). If anyone gave a bad review due to the sizing, it's most likely because they bought the "age" and ignored the measurements.
