So, I was on Amazon browsing like I do almost daily, and I really wanted to look into stand-up ring lights for not only my online businesses but just for selfies and family photos too; Anyways, I seen a lot of negative reviews, and I was skeptic, ordered it anyway, turns out...It's actually pretty amazing, the ONLY complaint I do have is that the phones I used in the phone-holder was too heavy for the ring light and it tilted down some, but once you work with it a minute, it works. I know it's not perfect but for the cost? It works well for me and I will keep it. There's a BIG difference between something being terrible and something that has minor inconveniences but works great!

The ring light works well. The brightness is good. The remote control is fussy with my phone (LG Thinq G8) and only works part of the time, or I just haven't figured out exactly how to work with it yet. My only complaint is that the tripod base is not very stable when using the self stick attachment, especially if it gets higher than about 3 feet. I plan to buy a better base to replace it. Also, the ball pivot just below the ring light need two be VERY tight or it tends to flop when a phone is in the cradle. Otherwise, I have had a good experience with this ring light. For the price point, it does what I need and I am content.

I really like the ring light. The lights are bright and are able to be dimmed with the remote. However, the only issue I have is that the adjustable bracket that holds the phone is too tall in the middle to where my phone is not held in the middle as the pictures show, it hits the top of the light. I have an iPhone XS max, but even with an iPhone 7, the phone placement is too tall. I have tried bending the adjustable bracket to get it just in the middle, but it's very stiff. It they made the bracket just a little shorter so that the phone will be in the middle, it would definitely be worth 5 stars.

I was happy to have received it 2 days prior to the estimated arrival day. I opened it right away and wow! I didn't know I was going to be so satisfied with the product. It gives the perfect lighting for selfies, even in a dark room. It has three different tones of lighting. I liked that it doesn't run on batteries, you plug it in to the power of anything, can be a computer, lap top, or an outlet, literally anything that has an USB port. To assemble was very easy and straight forward, I just took it out of the box and was taking selfies 2 minutes later. It also comes with a bluetooth control, making it very convenient to take pictures without even touching my phone. The stand can be taken apart to be used as a selfie stick which I haven't personally tried but the phone is held very steady, bluetooth control can be used on that one as well. I am happy with my purchase.

I have not used it much yet but one thing that seems a little weak is the tightening of the screw to hold the ring up at different angles. When tight the connection seems a bit wobbly. The ring 'head' feels heavy for the connection point, like it may not be able to hold the ring steady at any angle. The whole thing feels a little flimsy but I didn't want to pay too much so you get what you pay for and it will probably be fine. The light it gives off is great! I like the remote also for the camera phone- wasn't expecting that.

I was looking for a ring light for a while. Mainly for taking portraits. But i wanted something which does not need power from a wall outlet.This one totally fit my requirement as i carry a power bank with me and it can totally light up nicely. Its very light which makes it even easier for me.It comes witn 3 sertings for the light- warm, whiting warm and white. For me, the best setting is when its white since i like taking b&w photos.In addition, i love the feature ehere it transforma into a selfie stick with a remote. I dont take much selfies but it might be useful for some.Only thing i want more is that sometimes, i want a really bright source and this one lacks that. But honestly, thats rare and you cant have that without a big strobe light.

I enjoyed this mini ring light, I used it on my vanity when recording videos. The stand can be mounted with the phone clasp without the light if you want a hands free way to record without extra lighting both with the mini tripod and stand. My only complaint is the base of the ring light broke after a while with additional weight of my phone. The light still works, it just can no longer hold on the stand or tripod.
