These look nice and keep my dogs from barreling down the steps like deer on ice, but I did have to purchase a separate backing to keep them in place.

Great value. Tended to move around on my stairs, so I used double sided tape under them. Problem solved! No more worries about having a slip and fall on my stairs. Great product.

This are nice quality for the price. They are thicker than another brand I ordered and the edges are nicely finished. I have these on the front, oak stairs in my house, which is the more formal part of the house. I got them because my little dogs are getting older and a fall could be very serious. However, I like them myself and don't have to worry about slipping if I have on socks. The one negative is that you most definitely need to use the double-sided tape if you put them on wood, varnished steps. They don't stay in place at all, but I used the tape and they have not budged in the six weeks I have had them. I would recommend these stair treads to anyone looking for something a little on the nicer side that some of the other products out there.

I should have purchased these thread the first time! Really well made and even after a couple of weeks have survived my car’s scratching at it!I made a huge mistake in purchasing something a bit cheaper the first time around from Amazon. It literally installs fell apart within the first 3 days.Some reviews state that these are not evenly sized, which is true BUT it’s not off by inches or anything you can hardly tell the difference. The tad bit shorter ones I actually felt was wonderful because I have a metal railing legs and it was just perfect for some of the places where the bases were.Quality for the price is amazing.Seriously don’t think about save a few dollars. Will end up spending more money needing to buy more replacements. Just go with these and you will have treads for the long term that stand up well!

Definitely do not adhere to hard wood but nothing a nail gun can’t fix!

I like these a lot. I ordered for my small dog that has a hard time with stairs because he's so small. He thuds up and down and it wears down on his joints. These have enough padding where you're not bouncing off the step but its comfortable to walk. They look great on the stairs and have quite a bit of traction, however you'll want to put carpet tape down just to be safe. I would order these again.

They look good and the price is right. You will need carpet tape to keep them in place.
