Los Angeles Tourist And/Or Resident Magazine?
I’m so glad that I subscribed to Los Angeles magazine. The following are some of the features in the February 2016 issue of the Los Angeles magazine; A guide to their events such as the Dirty Dancing play, the Illusionist Live from Broadway, the Edwardian Ball (pages 64-65),a foodies journey at the LAX airport (page 49), a feature on the Morongo Casino, Resort, and Spa (page 86)an article on foster care within the Los Angeles county (page 102), and more. The front cover on Apartment Living seems perfect for people looking at this magazine either for relocation or visiting possibilities.

Los Angeles City Report
If you are as nosey a/b what is going on in LA as I am, this is the magazine to grab. LA mag is where I learned the true character of Arnold Schwartznegger long b/f he ran for govenor. Needless to say, he did not get my vote. LA mag is also where I learned what happened to news anchor Christopher Nance. If you hear or see a lot of construction, you can probably learn what's taking place in this mag. The recent work on the 405 was mapped out in explicit detail so I fully understood where and what work was taking place. These are my most indelible memories. When I think of more, as there are many, I will update.

Great for non-LAers
I subscribed to the mag so I know more about the city for a future visit. It's very good about describing all kinds of things. For instance, in the latest copy a sidebar tells the interesting history of Crenshaw Boulevard. The mag has lists of restaurants, best things to do in LA, places to stay. Very comprehensive.

Good magazine if you live in LA or are planning a visit.
Good magazine if you live in LA or are planning a visit. Very restaurant focused so if you are interested in where to eat this is a good magazine to get. They do a good job reviewing new restaurants. There is usually 1 or 2 interesting articles highlighting something interesting about LA. There is also a Things to Do section which can be helpful as well. The nice thing is this magazine is not celebrity focused. Yes it's LA, but there's more going on here then knowing where celebs were last spotted.

Excellent resource for LA area types
Love this magazine! It's an excellent resource for keeping track of what's going on in LA, what's hot, what "was" the deal "back when," and especially where to go for food, culture, beauty of the natural and unnatural types, and entertainment. Docked one star because the magazine's content (/ target market?) is generally above my income range. I appreciate the fantasy, but I cannot afford the places and meals that are most featured in the Los Angeles Magazine editorial content and - especially - advertising.

The magazine is better than the city itself
Magazine is decent true to the paper copy. Good graphics. I can say I liked the magazine better then I liked the city itself. Some useful articles although to be honest I get it mostly for the few food special issues. One complaint there is a bit yo much advertising .More content would be nice.

Good for locals and visitors looking for more than Disneyland & Bev Hills
Fun magazine for people visiting LA for more than a day or two of the usual tourist sites. Also good for locals.

Decision should be based on price
Was able to get the year subscription for 5 dollars. Price was great. Magazine is hit and miss. Some issues are interesting and great ideas for dinner and day trips others is nothing but pages of ads. Of you can get it for $5 then it's worth it.
