👌A-Ok for use w/ Amazon Fire 4K Stick 👍
Great price, works flawlessly with my Amazon Fire 4K Stick!Shipping took a week, longest I've ever waited w/ Amazon..Needed this to power the Stick as well as allowing input accesories, both at the same time. I have a 4 port USB 3.0 powered HUB connected along w/ a wireless mouse/keyboard unit, a 64GB USB drive (add'l storage) and a joystick/game controller. For multiple connected accessories, similar to mine, make sure your HUB is "powered," had its own external power source, to supply power to all those accessories. Without it, they'd struggle for power trying to draw it from the same source as your Android device. That setup isn't sufficient enough power for all those devices, it'll cause spikes and dip in power, making the Fire Stick, turn off or reboot constantly. Also, to have everything working/charging as intended, the key is to first connect all your accessories to the HUB, then plug in it's power source. Wait 20 seconds, then plug in the Android device last and you'll have charging and OTG functioning correctly at the same time.Any different order than this never worked properly for me so, give this a try if you're having issues.

Pretty good OTG splitter cable
Not to much to say other than it works. It's about what you'd expect. The only reason it didn't get 5 stars is because charging the device with or without a peripheral in the USB port seems to charge a good bit slower than just with a regular micro USB cable plugged in. Either way, it does charge slowly, and every device I've plugged into the full size USB port has worked, from Xbox 360 controller, to 2.4ghz wireless mice. If it had charged a little better it'd gotten 5 stars. Like I said though, even when nothing is plugged into the USB full sized port it still charges a good bit slower than just plugging the device in via micro usb. Oh well, that's probably just a limitation of the technology and my expectations may have just been unrealistic. Still happy with my purchase. Hope this review helps someone on the fence about buying this item.https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00C452XFO/ref=cm_cr_ryp_prd_ttl_sol_3

Great for Chromecast!
Works great for using a USB ethernet dongle with my Chromecast. Also tested with a OnePlus One and a LG V10. Most OTG adapters power whatever you have connected straight from your phone's battery. They're a bit cheaper, but even a flash drive burns through your battery like crazy. This allows you to charge the phone while simultaneously adding support for a USB device. Now you can copy big files without worrying about your battery dying, or even set a device up with an external USB peripheral on a permanent or semi-permanent basis without worrying about power management.Make sure your phone supports whatever USB thing you're trying to use first! Not every phone supports flash drives/ethernet dongles/barcode scanners/USB aquariums/etc. XDA is your friend. Most phones support flash drives, but support for other classes of USB devices is a little harder to find..In my case I verified ahead of time and it was perfectly plug-n-play. Best price I could find on Amazon, too. Would buy again.

gives my Chromecast the ability to connect to wired ethernet just like the official Google Chromecast Ethernet adapter
I'm using this along with a USB Ethernet adapter to provide wired ethernet connection to my Chromecast. I forgot where I saw the recommendation for this particular model. It may have been in one of the Google Groups results. This adapter, along with TRENDnet USB 2.0 to 10/100 Fast Ethernet LAN Wired Network Adapter for Macbook, Chromebook, Windows 8.1 and Earlier, Wii, Wii U, Linux, and Specific Android Tablets, ASIX AX88772A Chipset, TU2-ET100 , gives my Chromecast the ability to connect to wired ethernet just like the official Google Chromecast Ethernet adapter. It's a tad unwieldly with all of the cables dangling from the adapters but it works.

Durable cable, opens up the door of OTG possibilities.
Cable is well made and durable so far. OTG works on my phone. Tip: on my phone for OTG function to be recognized I have to plug in thumb drive into the cable before I plug it all into my phone. The micro USB portion doesn't always want to charge my phone for some reason, so -1 star for that, otherwise a solid 4 star product.

OTG plus charging... If the device supports both.
Galaxy S5, OTG works but no charging. Nexus 7 2013 charging works but no OTG. I have a feeling this has more to do with the devices than with the cable. So I can't really ding the cable because it does both of the functions it says it will do, just not at the same time on either of the devices I tried it on. Neither device is rooted so that may also be a factor.Edit to add:I just checked this with my old Droid 4 and it does charge and OTG at the same time.

OTG part works fine, doesn't seem to charge
I bought this to connect an RTL-SDR (software defined radio) dongle to my Samsung tablet, with hopes that the extra power connector would allow me to power the radio and charge the tablet at the same time. No luck with the charging, but the rest of it works just fine.

Cumple lo que dice. Materiales nada destacables.

- https://www.amazon.es/dp/B01E58MI20)
