Glucose Powder Slimpaks, Pack of 6, Elovate 15 Black Cherry-Flavored Packs

Anyone with an issue of low blood sugar.. this works very quickly and you don’t have that sickish shaky feeling after once this stuff kicks in.

I have tried all kinds of glucose tablets to use when my sugar is low. I am a Type 2 Diabetic and sometimes my sugar goes really low. This Elovate 15 really works, I take it and wait 15 minutes and my glucose goes back to normal. I highly recommend it.

There seems to be two different versions with one cherry and the other black cherry. The original was superb being a very fine powder that would dissolve instantly. If unconscious, a partner could pour a bit in the mouth at the area in front of the lower teeth. This version, black cherry, is higher in calories, flavor is not so good and texture is gritty like granulated sugar. It also doesn't dissolve as easily. It does work although not as effectively as the original. This used to be my absolute favorite and go to for lows however, I'll be looking for the original in cherry from now on. This newer version isn't as good as the cherry.

Unlike all other foods, drinks, chewables, gummies or powders, this fixes your low blood sugar episodes nearly immediately. Flavor is great too. Have water available though. Helps tremendously.

I found out recently that I have hypoglycemia, I am still trying to get it all figured out. This gas really helped when I haven’t caught things in time.

First of all, arrived with the box in rough shape and packets strewn about. Missing a few. Amazon readily reimbursed me, so that was handled very well. That said, this brand, for whatever reason, doesn’t raise my BG quite as quickly as the other brand, and the other brand never expires. These are more cost effective, and suffice when I’m not SUPER low (like 40-50 low). And they taste fine. Just prefer the other.

Reminds me of the old pixie sticks I ate as a kid!Pros: I like that it is flat and easy to carry. It fits in a pocket. It fits in a wallet. I appreciate that it can be eaten and absorbed dry, or can also be added to a small amount of liquid for drinking. 15 grams of carbs. Can be absorbed under the tongue. Fast action; it brings my blood glucose up faster that anything else I have tried. Easy to open, even with shaky, sweaty hands. The taste is very good and not so sickly sweet like many other glucose products.Cons: If not careful, powder can go all over, like on clothes or in nose ( solution is to only open it a little way. If keeping it in a pocket or wallet, side seams can eventually fail and leak; to avoid this I keep mine in a ziplock pill bag or other small zip bag ( check pharmacy or craft stores). This is a great product - I highly recommend it!
