Rothco Uniform Oxford/Work Sole

I'm a police officer and I ordered these to wear for an honor guard detail at a retired officer's funeral. I figured they'd be nice to have for other formal, class A uniform, occasions in the future as well. Because they'll only be used for special occasions, I didn't want to spend a fortune. I found this pair and it really suited my budget needs. I'm normally an 8 or 8.5 in men's, depending on the shoe. I ordered an 8w, because usually the only time I need an 8.5 is because the 8 is too narrow. I found the 8w fit slightly larger than expected. If I'd had more time, I probably would've exchanged them for a 7.5w, but the 8w was certainly manageable. I was on my feet a lot for the two days of the funeral detail. I experienced some minor "breaking in" discomfort, but nothing I would dock them stars for. Due to what I used them for, I can't speak to their comfort over an extended duration. My only complaint, and the main reason I did not give them 5 stars, was because one of the boots had a couple nicks in the glossy finish when I pulled them out of the box. One was a hairline scratch, about 1 inch long, and the other was a little pinpoint size "ding". Again, if I would've had time, I probably would've returned them as damaged and asked for a new, undamaged pair. I attached photos of the damage I described.

These shoes are awesome. I've worn them for months and they don't scuff easily. I immediately brought a second pair. I had a more expensive pair and they were almost completely scuffed up after one day. *cough swat* If I get what looks like a scuff with these, it just wipes away with mild soap and water. A great durable, shiny coating. The best at a great price margin, though I expect they'll raise it now. Get them while you can. They're pretty comfortable too, unless you have special feet, I guess. The shoe laces are sturdy too, although they do come loose so, I just double tie them. Great professional work boot. I was walking down the street in them and someone pulled over their car, just to ask me where I got them.

I have to wear these shoes all day and I’ve had no issues, after my last pair lasting 4 months (could have lasted longer but due to the amount of time I have to wear them and my long hours they got scuffed up quickly) I decided to buy another. So happy I found the “work sole” option these are far better suited to my needs. These have a thicker sole that the dress Oxford and more padding inside for added comfort. Only complaint I have is mine weren’t shipped in a shoe box but they were well wrapped in paper and didn’t have any scuffs or creases so I won’t take away any points for that. I keep one pair of these for knockarounds/duty use and a pair of bates lites for formal/ceremonial wear but after trying these out I may just get another pair of these for ceremonies as well. Really have no complaints here.

Returning this garbage, I don't know why this has been such a trend in shoes sold online except that they hope people won't return them.If my fingernail can cut the sole of your shoe, what the hell do you think pavement will do to it?

These shoes have been the best purchase I’ve made in shoes. I think I’ve bought 5 or 6 pair of them over the last 2-3 years. The reason for so many purchases is because I wear the heck out of them and, after about 3-5 months they begin looking a little worn. I love them when they’re fresh looking so I just open a new box and off I go. The price is the only reason I can do this. Great price for such a fun and good looking shoe. Also, very comfortable. And finally, I can’t go anywhere without someone (make or female) commenting on them and asking where I got them. My only regret is that they don’t come in brown! Why in the hell cant I find a men’s brown patent leather shoe!?

I was surprised at the overall quality and comfort with this shoe--considering the price I expected low quality and comfort. I was very wrong and off the mark! Shoes are very comfortable--I walk (sometimes run) and travel a lot for my line of work--and they became broke-in comfortable and flexible within two days. If your looking for a professional appearing shoe that feels like athletic footwear, this is the shoe for you.

Beautiful shoes. I have been wearing this type of shoe my entire 30 years police career. This is the most uncomfortable pair I have ever had. The sides are so high you can't walk in them without hitting the sides of your ankle causing terrific pain. They are so inflexible within 7 hours of my first shift I have to take them off. I do not recommend them for every day wear as a law enforcement or military person.

多少の傷あり。気になる方は通販のご利用は控えられた方が良いでしょう。エナメルを傷付けづに履ける人って居るのかな？サイズ感ですが普段ご利用のＵＳサイズで良いと思います。安全靴とか軍用ブーツとか、デカいよ！ってのがありますが、これはナイキに近いと思います。何より安いですね。

サイズは問題無いが、踝の高さが合わず踝と靴の上部のアールになった所が擦れて痛くて履けない。日本人には合わないかも？
