I got these to replace my old hair clamps after finally too many "teeth" snapped & broke off of them. They are smaller than the old school ones I used previously (think - those 4" - 5" big ones popular in the '90s), but they are designed very well, & not only are they designed so as to not have random teeth breaking off, these are actually many times stronger than my old ones before the old ones broke.They will hold hair in place, very strong & sturdy - won't wiggle around in your hair or try to fall out on you!The design is nice in that the teeth of the hair clamps interlock at the ends, rather than sticking out individually on the sides, so no more vulnerability with random teeth breaking easily like old ones!Pretty color variety, and great value for the quantity you get as well! They're all slightly translucent, which I think actually helped their appearance in looking a bit softer without taking away from the pretty color options, & they're very shiny! Held together with a super strong gold coil, which may or may not show much, depending on how you use them in your hair. Gold is "in" again, so nothing to complain about there!My only "complaint" is in its strength, hah! While I can use these with my hand's strength, I'm not sure those out there with arthritis / weakened hand strength, or wet hands (i.e. just out of the shower) could easily open them.Bottom line: very strong clips, with pretty, feminine, soft colors & color cariety, durable & won't break from clamp + teeth design, dry your hands before trying to put them in, & it may use a bit more muscle to get them to open - then rest assured, your hair will not budge with these clips in!I like them and doubt I'll ever have the need personally to buy any more, as well-made as these are! Really nice quality. They're sturdy unlike many store bought ones, and I love the color. Since they're really bulky they don't open as wide as Revelon's or your typical store bought. I have thick dreads and many of them, so I knew the medium wouldn't hold all my hair. I like having small (in relations to my hair) clips to pin my hair up on the side. I'm going to buy the larger ones so I can pin it all up too.

Love these! Very sturdy. Vibrant colors. I can use it to hold all my hair in a bun or just half of it without the clip sliding off. Use it in the shower to loosely put up washed hair too because of the smooth, no ripping/pinching design. Great buy~

I ordered the small first and they weren't exactly what I wanted but I liked them. I ordered the medium and they are perfect.

These hair clips are made well, fast shipping, and a great value for the price. It seems like all the hair clips i looked at in stores are not made as well, and cost at least $3 or $4 each... So this is a great value in my opinion!Thanks a bunch Amazon, and a great seller! Definitely recommend =)

They have a weird form that does not hold my whole hair. I bough them thinking they were going to hold my whole hair (I have a lot) but the weird shape will not hold it and it hurts when you put them on

They really hold hair in place. There are two sets of teeth - a small inner set and the outer teeth that gather the majority of hair. Great for thin hair.
