Mattifying magic!!!!!!
This was my first Pretty Vulgar purchase & it does exactly what it says. It plays well with my other lip makeup. Even fills in vertical lines within the lips. It's invisible. It's the most comfortable lip product I have. It's been a few months & I reach for it every day!

Silicone based feeling
It’s thicker than I imagine but it does moisturize and stay matte.

Ingredients hard to find. Feels nice, but it is silicone based
I put this on and it felt so good on my lips! I tried to read the ingredients, but there was a label across the listing. I went on Amazon and the ingredient list wasn’t on the product page. I finally went to Pretty Vulgar website and was happy they had the ingredients listed. Here they are:Dimethicone, Diisostearyl Malate, Polymethylsilsesquioxane, Mica (CI 77019), Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride, Dimethicone Crosspolymer, Polyglyceryl-2 Isostearate/Dimer Dilinoleate Copolymer, Dimethicone/Vinyl Dimethicone Crosspolymer, Stearoyl Inulin, Aluminum Starch Octenylsuccinate, Glyceryl Behenate, Silica, Acetylated Glycol Stearate, Sorbitan Sesquioleate, Phenoxyethanol, Water/Aqua, Stearic Acid, Isoceteth-10, Ethylhexylglycerin, Glycine Soja (Soybean) Oil, Cyclopentasiloxane, Cyclotetrasiloxane, Camellia Oleifera Seed Oil, Punica Granatum Seed Oil, Sclerocarya Birrea Seed Oil, Phytosteryl/Octyldodecyl Lauroyl Glutamate, Aleurites Moluccanus Seed Oil, Flavor/Aroma, Carthamus Tinctorius (Safflower) Seed Oil, Sambucus Nigra Flower Extract, Citral, Alaria Esculenta Extract, Linalool, Tocopherol, Ascorbyl Palmitate, Geraniol, Citronellol, Tocopheryl AcetateUnfortunate the very first and the third ingredients are silicone-type ingredients. Some people love silicone in beauty products, but some people say it clogs pores and can actually worsen acne. Also, It has very little flavor and very little scent. It is sold as a “citru cordial flavor”, but I couldn’t taste that at all.I gave this a 2-star because it does feel nice on my lips. I can wear it alone for a natural, moisturizing look. It feels elegant, but because of the silicone (which I don’t like the thought of) and lack of flavor, 2-star seems appropriate to me.If you don’t mind silicone in your beauty products, then I can recommend this and I think you’ll really like it

Works well for me!
If you're confused about what this is let me help explain what it really is. This is basically a chapstick in a tube that you apply with an applicator instead straight from the bullet. The texture is exactly like any drugstore lip balm in my opinion, which actually works out well for me because I have severely dry lips all year round and even worse in these cooler months. I've only used it a handful of times and I can already tell my lips are feeling more hydrated. That being $20 for a lip balm? If you think that's a justifiable price than go for it because it is good!
