SIMPSON CLEANING MS61033-S 3300 PSI at 2.4 GPM HONDA GC190 with OEM Technologies Axial Cam Pump Cold Water Premium Residential Gas Pressure Washer and Surface Scrubber

My unit arrived with a manufacturing defect. The handle holes were punched out of alignment and the tubing was bent. The handle could not be installed. I called in and spoke to a CS representative. After explaining the issue, I was told a new handle would be sent out. So far all good. The handle arrived after about a week, not too bad. However, the handle they sent looked like it was a manufacturing reject. The paint was completely scratched and chipped everywhere, with bare metal showing in multiple places. It will likely rust quickly if I don't paint it myself. It was also very dusty, and had masking tape stuck on it in random places. Odd. I decided to install it anyway. Simpson sent just the replacement metal tube, which meant I needed to switch over the metal plate the holds the nozzle attachments from the old handle to this new one. Upon trying to do this, I found that the holes for mounting that plate on this tube do not align with the plate from my old one. So now, I have two handles, neither of which have the holes properly aligned for complete assembly. This thing is heavy, huge, and it will be a pain to return, but I am strongly considering sending it back to Amazon. Stay away from this company.

I don’t understand some of the negative reviews about the frame. It is plenty stout and well built. Took me less than 10 minutes to put it together out of the box, oil filled in crankcase, handle installed, hose and waterline attached, cranked and running. REMEMBER: always use ethanol free gas.The surface attachment was the biggest impression. I was simply amazed at how well it works on a very dirty concrete surface. It is 10-15 times more effective and faster than the conventional nozzles. This was a huge upgrade from our 1800 psi electric pressure washer. In fact there is no comparison. I will be able to do my entire driveway, pool area, and deck with this machine, tho I thought I was going to have to pay a professional to come do it. Honda power source is THE WAY to go.

Bought in September 2019, now November 2019 and a screw that holds pump on sheered off and water is shooting out. Going to have to claim 1 year warranty. Might of been just this one, see a lot of good reviews. Power was good when it worked, started easy. Will update my review once I get a replacement and use for a while.

This is the first Amazon review that I have ever written. This Simpson Pressure Washer is a total POS. It ran for 30 minutes then wouldn’t restart. Worked on it for a couple hours with no luck.Received a “return authorization” fromAmazon. Took it to UPS for return shipping.....but they wouldn’t accept it for return shipping because it had gas/oil at one time. No way to ship it back to Amazon.Called Simpson and they had no interest it having it returned to them.Buy a Simpson product if you want a lot of frustration and enjoy throwing money away.

I had a hard time registing the unit for the model number is not listing on the web site. I had to call there main office and they could not find it also. Also the surface cleaner nozzies are appropriate for use with pressure washer up to 3200psi with a maximum flow rate of 2.3gal. This pressure washer is 3300psi and the flow rate is 2.4 gal. According to the book the comes withe the surface cleaner. I would like to know if this is safe to use.

the same works like a champ. I was able to wash my driveway with it and it ran great. It did take a couple of pulls to start. But that's just a part of the engine. This is a great bundle deal. I do recommend getting a longer wand extension. I also added a hose extension on the back of the washer. He just made it a little bit easier to get to with the hose. Still 5 on 5

I purchased this in October 2020 after my 2003 Troy Bilt's pump exploded. The Simpson was rated at 3300 PSI at 2.4 GPM, the old one was rated at 2900 PSI. Interestingly the both have the same model Honda engine (after all these years!!) I guess the Simpson pump is more efficient? Obviously, the 2003 engine withstood the test of time.The Simpson unpacking and assembly was easy and straightforward. The engine started easily. I completed the washing of my faux brick foundation before painting it again. The Simpson removed the algae an old paint adequately and perhaps better.The surface scrubber worked very well on deck. Very efficient!Two points of concern: 1) when I went to attach the wand to the pressure line there was no rapid connector included!! Luckily, as shown in the photos, I had an old one....Saved me a trip to the hardware store. 2). When reading though the maintenance manual it mentioned periodic fuel filter replacement...What fuel filter? So I added one. I also added a fuel cut off valve. It should be run dry (or have the the fuel drained before period of non use!). This should help this engine last >17 years, I hope.The missing connector ticks me off. This and the improvements I made could have cost the manufacturer all of $3 or so. But I did not withhold a 5 star rating for that. For the lack of a connector, I probably should have.(Simpson, if your read this, please send me a connector)

Same as another review, screw broke at end inside pump housing. Waiting for an exchange. Scared now to try another one, seems like an issue they are having.
