Pop Open Pet Carrier, Small, Up to 20 Lbs.

This is the best carrier I have ever purchased. It replaced one just like it I got aeven years ago. They laat a while, which is saying a lot because I am hard on carriers. I have four house cats ans take care of many feral cats. This particular type of carrier is excellent for ferals because it is so flexible. When one of the ferals needs to go to the vet, I open the top, distract the cat with food, then pop the open top over the cat and squeeze the sides together under the cat to keep it wrapped up like a burrito until I can zipper it closed in the car. And the netting is tough. Even determined cats can't shred it.

Bought this to transport our new puppy to and from the vet. He was only 4 lbs when we got him and, although he fit in the carrier, the lack of any sort of structured bottom made it very unstable and difficult to carry. Additionally, due to the wobbliness, the puppy was sliding all over. Once strapped into the car, the carrier worked fine and the pup got comfortable because of the stability of the car's seat beneath him. It's also very awkward to wear with the strap. Additionally, upon using the carrier again when the pup was almost 10 lbs, it was almost unusable. He barely fit, and I had to carry it with both hands underneath to support his weight because the whole carrier buckled and practically folded up around him. So, if you just need something for a very small/light dog or cat (not much over 5 or 6 lbs) and you won't be actually carrying it for too long, it'll work fine -- but if you actually intend to carry your dog for any length of time or have a dog approaching 10 or more pounds, you'll definitely want to go with something more rigid.

Excellent. This has been a huge help for my son who has a chihuahua that's a service dog. He's able to take him everywhere and put him in this kennel if need be (at a restaurant or when he's at a friend's house). He's very happy with it.

Worked great for our 13 pound s***zu. We took him on two flights and we had no problems using this carrier.

While this is light which is what I looking for, this carrier has a tendency to fold up when my kitten moves around in it

I've used this brand / model of carrier for years, replacing about every three years or so when the zipper breaks. Perfect for air travel - fits in the cargo space under the seat in front of you.

I reall like this carrier for my cat. It's so easy to setup and take down, the zipper sides give a number of options for getting a stubborn cat inside. Can definitely recommend this product.

Very thin, no support on bottom, fold up easy and great for transport as long as you hold the bottom.
