Owl Decoy with Rotating Head, Garden Protector Sculpture for Birds, Mice, Squirrels, Rabbits (Black-New)

I was shocked at how expensive these are now, paid $11 a few years ago and needed another to keep birds and other animals out of the pool and found this size to be around $35. This lg size is nicer looking than my other one that we have in our carport to keep birds fromfrom pooping all over the cars. It is not so scary looking as we have kids over to swim often. Great value.

Owl was perfect, except for one detail that was very much needed, no plug for the hole in the bottom of the owl. It has to be filled with sand to make it stable from the wind, rain and whatever. Not having a plug provided was a bummer.

$30 for this....no. I expected more for the price. I went to a local hardware store and bought one for $10. No it’s head doesn’t swivel but other than that it is almost identical. Thin, hollow plastic with a plug in the base. This product is cheaper from other sellers.

Horrible quality and doesn't scare the squirrels or birds. In fact the squirrels use it as an obstacle course on top of our fence. Since it didn't work and was incredibly ugly we took it down and threw it away.

Honestly, since putting up the owl, I have gotten more birds around my front door. It’s like they know it’s fake and poop more around the owl. But besides that the owl itself looks decent but the head doesn’t move as much as I thought it would.

MY dog is small. Our neighborhood has hawks. I make him were a winged harness and put this in one of the flower pots. SO far so good.

Looks so real. Have less squirrel activity but I move it about.
