Very dissapointing
The cards show Cannon, Mounted soldier and soldier. Pieces you get are square and another too weird to say and nothing in manual to tell you what's what. Over priced and not worth it. Board piece already looks like it will split in half.

Board was in pieces
Was excited and then disappointing when I opened the box and set the board out to play with the kids. After setting it out to play for the first time we learned it was sliced in two pieces and already starting to fall apart. Probably gonna have to buy a new board and spend more money. Really disappointing.

Added to My Collection
I loved that Amazon found this for me and I was able to add it my collection! I love the way these look on my living room bookshelf, and it keeps the games from sitting (unused) in a closet somewhere. I highly recommend these games in the wooden book boxes.

You'll need a bookshelf in your game room
The board could be bigger since the pieces are. But it's great. Looks cool on the shelf and my guy loved it.

An old favorite gets a new cover
Now you can add Risk to your libary in this handsome bookshelf edition. The game remains a perennial favorite, and in this day and age of global conquest you can play out your vicarious need to be king of the world without harming anyone, atleast not physically. But, be prepared for a few bruised egos, especially when combatants start teaming up on weaker victims. While the places and names don't exactly match today's geographical boundaries, kids can still get some sense of the world in which we live, even if the object of the game remains to wipe each other out.

Create war on and off the board!
The Game risk is easy to learn. For teens and over.It is all about building your own empire to take over the world while defending your own borders. Allies become important. This game needs to come with a warning. It seems to generate a fair bit of arguing and fighting by the players. We have played the game a number of times with different people and each time it results in an argument.Everyone we know who plays this game says the same. We have got to the point of acknowledging it is a great game but good relationships are better. Buyer be ware!

Risk Wood Book Edition Used
Game is as described except for some writing on the cover. Without the writing it would be in great shape.
