3.5 starsThe pros:The quality of this chair is excellent for the money. It was delivered very quickly and was reasonably easy for me to put together on my own, despite the fact my DIY skills are poor. The video on Office Furniture Online's website shows clearly how to assemble it.The cons:I've been using it for two and a half weeks and I still find it pretty uncomfortable. Even at its lowest height, it is too high for me (I am 5' 4.5") so I had to invest in a footrest to take the pressure off my legs. That improved things, but the lumbar support is very severe. At first I thought that my discomfort might be because I had developed bad postural habits with my old office chair, which had lost any real shape after long years of daily use, but not only am I not getting used to this chair, I am beginning to get lower back pain if I spend long in it.So in summary, this is a very good quality chair for the price, but either it doesn't fit me, or I don't fit it. I can see from other reviews (on which I based my decision to purchase) that this is unusual, but I don't think I'm particularly fussy or an odd shape because my previous one fitted from the first moment I sat in it. If my view changes as I continue using the chair, I'll come back and edit this.

I bought this chair after reading the good reviews. On unpacking, the chair was in good condition with no obvious marks. The base and arms are chromed metal which should be much more durable than the plastic variety. The arms aren't removable (they hold the back on) and are quite high - however they were short enough that I could still get the chair under the desk comfortably. There are no adjustments other than up and down. It went together easily enough, though 2 people would help.The parts where the chair touches you (face and arms) are a textured soft leather and the back is a matching plastic. You can't tell to look at but the feel between the two is very different.Everything was going well until I sat in it. The lumbar support that you can see in the picture is extremely hard. For me that means that if I sit up my back is only touching a small part of the lumbar and if I try and lean back, my back is arched over it.This must be a partly personal thing as the chair has had some very good reviews for comfort, but I'm really hoping the lumbar softens up or I'm going to have to replace it. If it wasn't for that, this would be a 5* chair.Update: I've been living with the chair for a few days and I think the lumbar support has softened up quite a bit. I'm also getting used to it. It does provide nice support when you're sat up in the chair, when otherwise your back wouldn't touch at all.

Just received this today. Very quick delivery. Ordered on Friday 19/6/15 and received Tuesday 23/6/15. Very straightforward and the video guide is much more helpful than the included instructions. Some other reviews have mentioned about the slots and screws not aligning correctly but my chair was fine. I made sure the screws were a bit.loose and then when i had the back screwed on i tightened all the screws - no worries.Gas lift works fine as well - easy to adjust. Tilt mechanism also works fine here - though it doesnt go all the way back only a little. I find myself rocking gently in the chair and its quite comfy :) Good back support. Chair is noiseless - no squeeking. This is only day 1 but i am very pleased with the purchase so far. I'll update the review in a few months.edit: Ive had this for a few months now. Still good chair. Only thing you notice is the cushioning on the seat is quite thin. Everything else is still working as intended.

Quite a good chair, with good support and comfort.The only quibble is that the front corners of the metal support under the armrests could have been rounded off better.

This chair came in a reasonable amount of time. Not the fastest delivery but that's ok since it's a larger product. However it arrived in a very worn out box that seemed like it had be sitting in the back of the warehouse for quite some time. Also it came with some marks on the leather seat which was not ideal. Assembly was pretty easy but did need 2 people to get the arm rests in. I've had it for a couple of months now and the chair used to be quite comfy at first but now not so much. Maybe I've worn down the seat but I'm not a very heavy person (50kg) so it's a little surprising. Also I've found that I can't really lean back on the chair. When I do, it feels like it's about to topple over which gives you an mini heart attack. I know it's not how we assembled it as we've tighten the screws and such a couple times and it still persists. I think it has to do with it being a little top heavy. I back of the chair is quite large and it is only fixed to the chair at the bottom. I have also found it doesn't roll on the ground so smoothly as the wheels sometimes get locked in a certain position. Overall it's still usable and I use it everyday however if it broke I would not purchase it again. I also don't recommend this chair to others. The price is pretty good but I would rather pay a little extra for a better quality chair next time.

The chair arrived quickly, within 2 days of ordering. First thing to note was that the box was badly torn, dusty and ripped - like it had been hanging around in a warehouse for several years. None the less as soon as i opened the box, all looked as new. Quick to put together (approx 25mins) and the leather is a very fine quality, very soft and even the arm rests are of very high quality. There was a slight tear in one side of the chairs leather (.8mm wide) but it was almost invisible therefore i decided not to send it back to the seller. Not sure its worth its price tag but it is close, if you have the extra money i would highly recommend this chair.
