Kakaos Solid Color Cotton Yoga Blankets with Matching Tassels (Yellow)

Scratchy! The cotton feels rough, even when washed and then rinsed with fabric softener. However, it's an attractive blanket and it does hold up to machine washing. I used the gentle cycle, warm water, and a hugh mesh laundry bag to encase it during laundering. What appears to be a very loose weave tightens up after maching washing and drying, but with no noticeable shrinking of overall size. I plan to buy a second one.

Right out of the package there were two holes where threads were broken, plus several areas of loose threads that were not woven properly. I wanted a soft cotton blanket that was machine washable and dryable. It was not soft. Washing might have softened it, but there was conflicting laundering information. The label sewn to the blanket said wash cold water, dry low heat, but the sticker on the outside of the package said air dry or dry no heat. I would not have purchased it if it had to be air dried, things don't air dry well in the winter where I live. Washing would have made the broken thread holes bigger anyway. The turquoise color was wonderful though.

Arrived on time but had a funky smell, so I washed it in cold water, gentle cycle, as recommended. Shed more than the cheap towels from Walmart. Seems as though the fringe was coming out. So I washed it again, thinking that it would shed less. It didn’t... the 2nd wash was just as bad. Would definitely NOT buy again! Very disappointing,

Yellow is apparently a golden brown and the texture of this throw is nothing at all like a yoga or Mexican blanket. It’s a rough, thin open weave reminiscent of burlap. It also has some shiny gold thread in it. I’m keeping it bc it’s already here and I’m lazy. But had I known I definitely wouldn’t have ordered it.

I love these blankets. I use them on my bed and as a throw on my couch. Will be buying more.One came with a small flaw in the weaving. I called the phone number on the tag, sent them a picture and they are sending me another one. Excellent customer service and quality product at a good price.

I bought this blanket for my yoga class. The blue color is beautiful and it is a perfect weight . I washed it upon receiving it, hanging it to dry. The color did not run. It has texture to it ,as I don’t want a real smooth blanket that I’m going to be slipping on . I don’t feel that it’s rough at all compared to some of the Mexican type blankets other people had .

Even after washing it I could not get rid of the awful awful odor. I tried airing outside, using fabric spray - nothing helped. It smells like roofing material, tar maybe? Awful awful awful.

Excellent quality and color. I use them for yoga and also for a living room rug.
