Really Nice System, PIR Sensors Work Great!
After purchasing a system that I didn't realize didn't have PIR sensors due to a bit of a confusing description I was happy to find this camera system to use at my house. I'm replacing another well known brand that I was having connectivity issues with and paying a $10 a month fee on top of it for the PIR functions. This system works great! The NVR OS is a little bit dated and as a result isn't the most intuitive but it appears to be an industry standard package and with just a little reading of the manual is pretty easy to figure out. The camera quality is great. The image both during the day and at night is excellent and the app alerts and email function work as expected. My only real complaint is that the exclusion zones don't seem to always work properly at the edges and the system will pick up people walking on the sidewalk. That said I'm very happy with the camera system and was able to hook up the base unit to the TV in our master bedroom. I do wish they didn't put LED's on the front of the base unit but a 1 inch piece of electrical tape solved that issue for me. These are great and I highly recommend them!

Extremely easy to setup, Great VIDEO recording and playback, No problems with wireless connection.
I needed video security for my two boat slips on a 20 stall community boat dock. This system worked fantastic with the four cameras on the corners of my two slips. The floodlights are setup to come on with motion after dark and the recorded video is awesome. Prior to this system I had cheap 720 quality cameras that recorded a person undoing my boat cover and looking for electronics to steal. Unfortunately the video quality was too poor to identify the person. This new system recorded video is truly high quality HD and I have no issues with being able to see faces clearly from 30 feet. I did add 30 foot extension power cables for two of the cameras to reach my UPS. All works fantastic. I am considering replacing my existing home video security with a Yeskamo system.

Excessive false alerts and poorly designed app
Overall we were pretty happy with the actual cameras and NVR. Cameras are clear and system setup was very easy. However, we are returning based on the following (mostly due to the very poorly designed app) which made the entire system useless for us:1) Excessive false alerts: We have several large boulders (4' in diameter) in our front yard and for some reason the system kept focusing in on one of them thinking it was a human. You could see the software marking the boulder with a red square and then sending an alert. This resulted in hundreds of false alerts every day. I turned down the sensitivity so low that it stopped but then it would not even recognize a human walking right in front of the camera.2) App: When you receive an alert, the push notification says you have an alert on "Camera 1" or "Camera 2", NOT the alias that you created for that camera. So you have to remember that Camera 1 = Front yard and Camera 2 = Back yard, etc.3) App: When you receive an alert it does not take you to the actual alert, instead you have to push the group of cameras, then the list of alerts, then choose the actual alert. Even after choosing the alert, you have to hit view video. Way too many clicks.4) App: WORST FUNCTION OF THE APP: When you receive an alert and go through the rigmarole of finally getting to that alert (see above), if you try to view the alert within 30 seconds of receiving it, you will get a popup that says something to the effect of, "Video in transmission, please wait 30 seconds". By that time the bear has eaten all of your trash, the kids have toilet papered your house and the neighborhood porch pirate has stolen your package. Basically, alerts are useless.5) App: The app always reverts to standard definition so every time you try to view a camera, you have to change the setting to high definition. Extremely annoying.6) No instructions whatsoever for the software that comes with the NVR. It will be trial and error for you and even then, you will not understand some of the settings.7) App: The app only allows you to add the entire group of cameras, not one camera at a time. This causes extra clicks to get to the camera you are interested in.Ultimately, we just packaged everything up and sent it back.
