A great product to retrofit fluorescent lights.

Easy to install and very bright. Replaced my old tubes, no ballast needed. You will be happy. My garage has never been brighter.

I purchased two sets of these led bulbs for retro fitting ballast fixtures. There were no problems with installation. These led bulbs are really bright, perfect for the barn type area; I purchased the 6000K. The bulbs produce little heat, come on instantly and so far, create no RF interference.I read in another post one out of four bulbs did not function. In my case one out of eight bulbs did not function. Amazon suggested contacting JESLED directly which I did. My email was responded to promptly and with a positive outcome. I opted for a partial refund which was quickly processed.I would buy these again, but I have no more fluorescent bulbs left. I recommend these bulbs.

I never read reviews that are right out of the box. In this case, I had these bulbs for right at 2 years in our kitchen which is only used in the mornings and evenings. The 50,000+ hours is totally bogus. Out of the pack, I've had now Qty 6 go bad which is nearly 25%. I expect the others to follow as their quotation of operational hours must not be tested whatsoever. Find a better company that JESLED - DON'T BUY!! I have fluorescent bulbs in operation years before and now lasting far longer...

When some of my fluorescent bulbs died I decided to replace with LEDs. I ordered these to make the replacement and then duly made the changes to the fixture to bypass the ballast (fairly easy). The package arrived today and as I went to install, only 1 of the 4 in the box was undamaged. Very disappointing. The one that is undamaged works great, but it is disappointing to get a box of broken merchandise. Worse yet I have to make the trip to UPS to return it (20 miles). I will amend the review if the replacements are undamaged. I like for Amazon or the manufacturer to just replace without me having to return, the photo documentation says it all.2/21 - Replacements came today. They were packaged better, but I don't think the boxing was the issue in the first place. At any rate, the new ones were undamaged. Now that I have them installed I can say that the LEDs are much "whiter" than the relatively yellow fluorescent and the portion of the room they are illuminating is much brighter as a result.Still disappointing that, even with photographic evidence of the damage, I have to make a 20 mile run to the nearest UPS facility.rating upgraded. If the originals were undamaged I would rated even higher.

The difference between my old fluorescent tubes and these is, well, night & day. No more having to get my flashlight out in the garage to see what I'm doing. I only wish to say that be prepared for a total lack of installation instructions. You'll need to bypass the ballast and it wasn't as straightforward as I thought it would be. There is lots of information out on the web regarding what to do and how to do it. Be warned; lots of bad information, too. The essential things to know are that these LED replacements require non-shunted tombstones and they expect electrical connections on both ends of the tube. Definitely recommend them once you cross the installation hurdle.

I purchased 25 bulbs so there were a lot of ballasts to bypass. The first ballast bypass was slow, by the time I got to the 3rd or 4th one I was getting pretty good at it. I had a number of cheap Walmart florescent dual bulb lights which were difficult to bypass the ballast due to the ballast being almost built into the fixture. Unless your are really determined I would advise not fighting the built in electronic ballasts in the cheap fixtures. All 25 lights worked. The led lights turn on instantly with no buzzing ballasts - nice. The light output appears to be double that of the original florescent bulbs - very nice. How long they will last is the real question since there is no going back now that the ballasts are cut out. In summary, I recommend switching to led bulbs. Shipping was fast and the JSLED bulbs were well packaged.

They greatly increased the brightness in my garage over the standard fluorescent bulbs. Cutting the ballasts out wasn't too bad. If you watch YouTube videos, be aware that there are two types of led bulbs, the kind that have an electrode on each end (this product) and the type with two electrodes on one end. So the black supply wire goes to one end and the white to the other. I cut the ballast wires off close the the ballast body and used the cut wires to wire up the new system. Very bright but puts out some RFI. I had to move the antenna on my FM radio to continue to hear a distant fringe station. But I think this is an issue with most LED bulbs nowadays.
