independant retailer set up
You must call some number to activate it seems like an independent retailer and not ultra customer service. After calling over 10 times I finally got a live person and not an answering machine.

Failed in Areas with Supposed Coverage and No Refund
I bought the card for use on a trip to Montana and specifically checked on Ultra’s website that the card has coverage in the two towns that I needed it for. It completely died when I arrived in an airport in Montana. As you could imagine, it caused quite a bit of panic when I needed to locate the shuttle driver. Similarly, the card did not work in our hotel, which again caused trouble when the shuttle driver had to be late for our pickup, and I couldn’t reach him by phone.When I contacted EZKonnect to report the problem and requested a refund, first they told me to call Ultra to fix the problem – when my Montana trip was already over, and I couldn’t have called Ultra in the first place because the SIM card was not working! After I reiterated my request, EZKonnect replied that since the card was activated, EZKonnect did not have authority to issue a refund, as they could only replace a defective or damaged item.For 4 days, the SIM card did not work in areas that it claimed to have coverage - how is this not defective?! And since I paid EZKonnect for the card, shouldn’t they issue the refund when a product they sold is defective, rather than claiming that they have no authority and shirking their responsibility?I was lucky that I arrived and left Montana in places where there were people around that I could ask for help. Other customers who relied on the SIM card that ultimately failed may not be so lucky.

The package contained an instruction saying "DO NOT DO ANYTHING WITH THE SIMCARD.
The package contained an instruction saying "DO NOT DO ANYTHING WITH THE SIMCARD. We will activate the simcard for you. Visit www.---.com". I visited the website and sent a request for activation. However, nothing happened after that.
