Worked perfectly
This kit worked perfectly for upgrading my cabinet hinges. The cabinet doors had pre-drilled holes for the hinge screw configuration and the new hinges did not have the special screws attached to fill them. The plastic inserts in this kit filled the holes, so I could screw the new hinges into place.

Life saver
I bought some ikea vikidal doors for a custom closet I built but did not want to spend the ridiculous price for their hinges. I bout some replacement hinges and these from Amazon and they worked out very well.They are very sturdy and a good value. Fairly easy to install. If you’ve never done this, I’d advise watching a YouTube video first.

Worked perfect for insert
These worked great to put into stripped out holes that don’t hold screws any longer. You need to drill out the hole a bit more, tap in these inserts and then screw in cabinet screws as before. It was a better solution than these cabinet plates, that are visible.

You need to epoxy them in place to get them to work.
These are very short compared to commercial one used. I drilled an 8.5mm hole as per instructions and they spun in the hole. I had to epoxy them in place to get them to work.

They work nicely
I did not have an installation tool so I used my Kreg clamp to press them into place. They worked well.

Easy Install
Works great, we were able to transfer hinges from one set of doors to another.

Didn't work
Was unable to get it to work and I am reasonably handy. Put in the inserts after drilling and the insert turned as I got to near bottom with the screw. Glued the inserts with the same result. I got a 3/8 wood dowel , cut to proper length and after the glue set, I was able to drill a pilot hole and then screw in the cabinet hinge. Worked fine. A whole package of dowels cost $2.00. I do not recommend thus product. Maybe the plastic inserts and screws works ok in other situations but it did not in mine.

Use 8mm drill bit! Not 8.5mm to reduce spinning.
Read the reviews of the insert spinning after install and driving in the screw., I used an 8mm drill bit instead of 8.5mm and there was no spinning when installing screw by hand. Very tight and secure.

Work Great - Would Purchase/Use Again.
Works Exactly As Intended, I Used A Bit Smaller Bit Than The 8.5mm Bit Recommended, I Used A 7.5mm Bit, Which Caused Insertion To Be A Little More Difficult, But Gave Me A Nice Snug Fit That I Have No Doubt Will Hold Well. These Little Things Save Me A Ton Of Time And Money And Will Be A Regular Item For My Tool Box Moving Forward.
