Bought as a gift
My son-in-law started getting back into fishing. I’m in the process of helping outfit him. This net seems to be a decent addition to his arsenal. Lightweight but reasonably durable.

Great net, but has it's limitations.
What I love about this net is that it folds up and telescopes. I had the 18" for years, but dropped it in the drink, last summer...they don't float. Ordered the 22", let me tell you, this thing is huge! While the net itself would hold a large pike or muskie, the handle, fully extended, would break in a second. It's just too flimsy, sorry! I would also like to see a rubber net instead of the rubberized net material. Regardless , It is by far my favorite net. If I loose this one, I will purchase the 18" one again.

Reasonably priced, portable, and effective especially of trout in the 2 - 4 lb size
This Frabill is the same model as my friend had that we carried with us on our Bowron Lake Canoe circuit in BC. Folded up nice for travel and also for being out of the way when paddling, ......but was quick to get ready when fishing. Throat of the net was of a diameter to easily net fish in the 2- 4 lb range. Not sure how it would handle larger fish as did not catch any. So this Frabill is one that I bought for myself. First Frabill net arrived with hole in net, which they have now replaced with a new one. Now just need to send the one needing repair back, which has been supplied with a prepaid freight address thus costing me nothing to send back but time and travel to the post office, which is not too inconvenient to do in my area.

Works as hoped. Too big of holes for minnows.
This net was good, but it's a little more flimsy than what I was hoping. It will still function fine as a net, but if you are raking the bottom of a pond (catching frogs or something) then it may bend/break if you get too much muck in it.The collapsing part is also very convenient when packing for vacation and traveling. If you are catching butterflies, birds, fish, frogs, rodents, crabs, etc...this net is perfect. It's not good minnows, guppies, or little stuff like that. The holes are about .25" diameter, which allows little things to slip out. A witty moth could probably escape as well.

This net is nearly perfect for kayak bass fishing
This net is nearly perfect for kayak bass fishing. I have been using this net for the past 6 months or so now and have had no major issues with it so far. I can say from first hand experience though it does NOT float for very long (most nets don't) regardless I would be conscious of this. All things considered it's a great net though for the price. It stores nice and small and extends out nicely as well. I've caught several 5+ lb fish and landed with this net without any issue.
