The 'kit' we bought for our daughters new turtle came with a pitiful little filter. That thing wouldn't clean a cup of water, let alone 8 - 10 gallons of water.This filter is super quiet, easy to setup and the filter is super easy to clean or replace.I highly recommend this filter.

i love that my turtle loves this filter! he loves the waterfall. i added a bubbler stick at the bottom of my tank and it’s his favorite place to stay. i also like the easy clean and maintenance. can rinse filters a few times before using a new one. replacement filters are cheap too!! my turtle loves the waterfall effect. he’ll poke his head under it it’s soo precious!! the easily cleanable biospheres are my favorite part!! a part that i don’t have to replace and can add extra stuff in such as coral to help collect the algae as well. very nice filter for a cheap price.

I write my reviews after a couple months to see if item works or not. Not like others that write 5star reviews cause it worked for a week. I purchased this filter few months ago. Since the beginning it has not worked properly. I have a small turtle w a 10 gallon tank to start and this filter was not capable of keeping it clean. I had to clean tank 1 a week. Remind you it was a small turtle and tank. Once turtle got bigger w a bigger tank now it stopped working after a while. I don't recommend this product at all. Don't waste your $$.

Works great when properly working .. sections alway break .. I've had quite a few of these this brand and others . they don't last very long ..your best bet is to maintain the filter as much as possible to keep very clean so it don't cause any issues.. and stock up on suction cups .. I rigged mine in the back bc once the suction come out it leaves holes and filter doesn't work right .. this is my 3rd one I pretty much have to buy a new one atleast every 6 months ... I need to figure out a permanent solution bc I can never get in contact with company and now that it's over the 30days on Amazon I can return .. I had this last one 31 days the suction already broke and left a hole ... time to move on from this brand .

The media could not be loaded.  My turtles tank started getting super murky only 4 days after I cleaned it. Decided to try this out until I could get a “good” one, but I’ve been surprised at how good this one has been for how low the price is. It’s so quiet since I have it pretty close to the water line so the sound of the waterfall isn’t loud. The motor is very quiet, I don’t even notice it. My computer running is louder than this filter.As soon as I plugged it in I could see all the bio waste churning around the tank. First 12 hours I could see improvement. 24 hours the tank was getting really clear and now 48 hours later the tank looks as clear as it did when I cleaned it out.Included video to show sound, and a before and after picture of the water quality in the tank. The 1 negative is that no instructions were included. Fortunately there’s a video on here to show you how to put it together. I’ll update my review if it craps out, but as for now I’m very pleased with this purchase.

My daughter has a baby turtle and we had set him up in a small aquarium. Even with how small he (the turtle) is, he still made the aquarium have an unpleasant smell. (He is a swimming turtle). I looked on Amazon, and thought I'd give this pump a try. It is just what we needed and helps to keep the water moving and filter out the small particles. It was super easy to set up and was ready to go in no time! The turtle love the small waterfall and going into the bubbles! Haha!

The media could not be loaded.  Honestly I love this filter. Got it for my turtle tank. I have 2 baby red ear sliders, fish in their tank and some crawdads. This little tiny thing filters their big tank. Takes the water from a dirty cloudy look to crystal clean. Got the turtles from a last who had them in Creek water which is why the water was so cloudy. I didn't think it would actually do the job but it surprised me

Whoever designed this filter spent roughly 5 minutes on it then went home for the weekend... the power cord us about two feet long... assuming you're using this in a small tank, at least a foot of that cord is taken up just getting out of the tank... unless your turtle tank is on the floor by a socket you'll need an extension cable... after installing it in my tank I wanted to move it... tried pulling the two suction cups off the glass, but they popped free from the filter case, and water started shooting out the back... because the suction cups are mounted into two holes in the plastic... no suction cups and water shoots out... whoever built this also doesn't understand turtles, who live to push and pull on anything they can... my two year old Red Ear Sliders had the external filter element pulled off the unit in minutes... absolute POS, do not recommend.

Worked fine for a month. Broken right after return deadline... Wow... What a quality!?What

The media could not be loaded.  Funcional el producto, tiene todo lo de la foto, el agua se mira así por que le pongo gotas para desclorarla, calcio para las tortugas y su vitamina A,Me dura varios días limpia el agua y toda la suciedad lo atrapa el filtro.

Why are you selling 110v pump to a country using 230v? The pump burned after 5 minutes. No, I didn't read the specification on the box, but that should not be necessary for something this fundamental. If you sell to a certain country please ensure the unit work in the specific country.

Al principio me empezaba a decepcionar por los comentarios que leía pero la verdad es que cumple con sus funciones correctamente y a pesar de no tener un instructivo la instalación es correcta

The media could not be loaded.  Le pongo 4 estrellas porque llegó muy golpeada de la caja, pero parece que el producto está funcionando al 100. Después haré otra reseña de su funcionamiento. Sirve perfecto para mis recién adoptadas tortugas :)
