La Preferida Organic Pico de Gallo, Medium, 16 OZ (Pack - 1)

I was trying this on scrambled eggs and a serving of hash browns but found this product too hot to enjoy or to even taste other flavors. My wife is 100% Korean and gets her food from a local Korean store. She said that I hadn't been eating enough spicy food lately and therefor I was over responding to the spice.She tried 1/2 teaspoon and her response was closing her eyes and saying "Spicy!! SPICY!!! Spicy!!!!" and she didn't ask for more so I don't think it was just me. She said it was too hot as well.

Since I had a very different experience from the other reviewer of this product, I thought I would comment. Fortunately, my bottle was well packaged and arrived intact. I used some of it for a taco salad recipe, and it really spiced it up, which was a pleasant surprise. I am used to prepared Mexican products in the U.S. not being very spicy, even when the manufacturers advertise it as such. This one has some bite, and overall it is quite delicious. I was looking for an organic pico de gallo, and I am very happy with this one.

I would give this no stars if I could as this bottle of salsa arrived shattered for the second time. I ordered it for the first time earlier this week and thought it must have been an anomaly when it showed up cracked and spilling it’s contents in the box. But I now know, after trying for a second time, and then reading reviews; this is the norm. I will NEVER order this again as I don’t eat glass.

The bottle was broken in half, spilled all over the box. I had to throw it away.
