It does zoom 8x or so.It's humongous, like really thick and bulky looking, cheap plastic.It barely stays on and when it does it usually covers the camera partially. On the inside, at the end of the lens that is closest to your camera lens, it has a half circle, half hexagon shape for NO real reason at all. The hexagon part is the thing that really destroys any chances of this lens being useful, it just blocks the view partially and makes scenes DARK and unfocusable. If you position the lens carefully you might avoid that, but even a small shake can lead to partial blockage.Look for another one, this is BAD.

Just as I suspected for the price. Go by a cheeseburger instead. This is useless.

If your looking for a zoom lens that performs as well as a SLR lens for hundreds if not thousands of dollars then don't buy this. Your getting a fixed 8x lens that is difficult to center and moves when you attempt to use the focus ring. That said, I bought this for $13 and it performs almost as well as I expected it to. If you want to take a quick picture forget that too; as mounting, centering and focusing are time consuming. Even if mounted, you must refocus for different distance objects, and again that will be time consuming. This item does not mount well if you are using a case. I have an iPhone 6. Removed the TPU case to use. I give it 3 stars because of the focus ring. Came in 3 weeks USPS.

will not stay in place, got a clip from a free set works better on samsung g5, good for price compared to some around 80$ would be nice to have small bag to keep all pieces in one spot. it shows a black bag but did not come with it got small cleaning cloth. Would not recomend for Samsung cant speak for other models.

I like this lens and the clip works easy and is not in the way of controls of the phone. I have found that focusing the lens with your eye first makes it much more convinent to use since doing while attached will move the lens away from the camera lens. The lens its self seems to be good quallity and have no problem using it. A great price and a good product.

Works but too bulky and heavy. Up to you if you have nimble fingers and like to add to your collection of camera accessories to have fun. It does work though except for its heavy weight.
