German WWI Infantry Model Building Kit

Not an actual model. 12 figures, 2 of each one. The Flametrooper is also not posed the way he is on the box. I guess this is why it's a good idea to find more pictures before buying.

The Emhar Figures are very well made, but because they are already molded (no assembly required), protruding parts that are not connected by sprues, such as weapons, were bent. It does require some work to ease them back into shape without snapping.I'm no expert on German army apparel - so I will not go in depth about uniform accuracy here. Suffice to say the figures appear historically accurate for the 1916-18 period. The Stahlhelm is of WWI proportions, and the flamethrower adds a nice touch.***One item of note is that no Painting guide of any kind is provided. In fact, the only thing in the box are the figures. There are no separate printouts, decals, etc. Modelers intending to paint will have to rely solely on the box art. I went with Tamiya Field Grey (XF-65) paint for my figures.After much deliberation, I have decided to give a rating of 4/5.
