EZ Office Lounge Drafting Stool with Foot Ring & Loop Arms, Black

I bought this chair to be used at a counter height work area. It was relatively easy to assemble even though instructions are just pictures. I have had this chair in use for about a week. The area where your feet rest can be adjusted to your preference but it gets loose easy, but is easy to tighten back up. The arms don't seem real strong or" flimsyish " which seems to be a common denominator among chairs that look like this one. I can put up with it for my purposes, if you put a lot of weight on the arms and rely on them to be very sturdy you may want to pass this chair up. It is ok for me though.

The chair isn't as tall as reviewed. The seat is only 33.5" at its tallest position without someone sitting in it. The seat drops to 31" when I sit in it. I weigh 180lbs. It is not ideally tall enough to use with my stand up desk but it will do I guess.Update 6/14/17:The chair hydraulic seems to be slowly failing. Several times a day it will slowly collapse while I'm sitting on it. This used to happen very seldomly but has increased in frequency with time. I only weigh 180 lbs too.

Overall this chair is a great bargain. I wanted a chair with an upright back, some padding, and arm rests. This chair has it all and fit my budget.However, I will echo what others have said about the foot ring – it does not want to stay put. I keep putting it somewhere in the middle and it keeps sliding down. I am pregnant (hence the new more comfy drafting chair) but I'm not that big of a person. I'm going to try really tightening it down as much as possible again, but I'm afraid if I tighten it too much I'll damage it.

I bought this chair for a recreation center that I manage. My employees sit on it all day behind the desk. We have had the chair for about a year and a half. It seemed ok at first but the padding didn't seem to last long. The fabric however has held up well, but with the lack of cushioning, it now makes my back hurt daily while at work. Have owned a HON Drafting chair in the past and that one seemed a bit more comfortable and held up better, but they are more exspensive.

While the stool itself is comforable, the foot rest is cheap junk. It arrived with two of the tiny aluminum pegs missing, and while I was assembling it the other two broke off. They are soft and pliable aluminum that can no way bear the weight of even a 1 year old! I think the chair was previously returned and then reshipped. One of the casters wasn't in the original bag, so that too was a clue. VERY disappointed.

Love the chair, but it seems that the hardware for the foot rest is a little useless. I tightned the knob as hard as i could and it still slips down.

I am wondering why the smaller ziplock bag had a hole ripped in it.... I always line up my hardware before I start a project.... I ordered a lot of items to make a nice home office and this is disappointing. Can I have the bag of hardware or do I have to send back the entire chair ?

Good chair at a reasonable price. Assembly was fairly easy, and the chair seems sturdy. It has a 250 lb weight limit. The person using it is closer to 300 lbs, but the chair is holding up fine, and the up and down feature is functioning as well.I received this product at a discount in exchange for my honest feedback.
