Quality brass check valve
Used this check valve to prevent back flow into the domestic cold water supply using a hot water heater, circlating pump and fan-coil unit. Threads are cut properly and seal without leaking.

Perfect fit!
It’s an upgrade to the plastic fitting I replaced. I know they try to make weight a concern on motor homes and that’s why they use plastic but I prefer something a little heavier duty.

Would not seal.
Tried to add it to RV water pump with failed internal check valve. Even with Teflon tape, it was not threaded to be used on RV fitting, would not seal.
