Hessaire MC37L 3,100 CFM 3-Speed Portable Evaporative Cooler

 It’s 93 hot and humid degrees on Lake Conroe, TX today. My back patio faces due West. I have solar screens which help re the intense sun and heat; but (as I’ve endured 6 hot summers without it) I would NEVER be comfortable on my back patio in these temperatures without this new evaporative cooler.I’m posting a video that includes a few items I purchased and added at the water faucet. I have very high outdoor water pressure; thus the pressure regulator (which arrives set to a default), AND I wanted filtered water blowing through the unit.Someone asked about the swing. Yes, the swing can be turned on and stopped in any position, and it will stay in that position.Yes it’s loud on high; but I’m on my back patio and I’d rather hear a nice fan versus my neighbor’s choice of outdoor music blaring through his outdoor speakers. I actually LOVE that the evaporative cooler is noisy on high!Use channel-lock pliers to tighten at the water faucet. No leaks.Put drops from a natural essence oil into the water fill opening for a pleasant smell. Tea tree oil is a wonderful natural essence oil from Australia with a very distinct smell. I lived in AU for four years and I rather like the smell. Seems to me it’s a good, safe disinfectant to mix in the water basin—-not many drops at a time. At first the unit emitted a smell. It dissipated during the first use —> and with the aid of some cinnamon essence drops. Pick your essence oil. Makes it very pleasant!I’m very happy with this beast. Not pretty; but does the job exactly as expected.

I found a water leak and funny smell when operated the water pump.

received item in good shape less than 48 hours after my order. works great! no leaks. came with hose adapter which doesn't leak when tightened properly. pump sounds like water fountain. oscillating louvres are nice touch. low fan speed moves plenty of air so why turn it up. staying cool in the high, dry Arizona desert in mid-june so I am quite satisfied with it.

Very efficient portable evaporation cooler. I use it in the garage, we use it on the patio...great cooler!
