This ram was placed into my Dell i7559 gaming laptop to expand the included 8gigs of ram to 16 gigs.The JEDEC timings of this RAM are 11,11,11,28 at 1.35VThis ram perfectly matched the existing ram from Dell which is why I bought it.System performance is great and I now get dual channel ram.The existing ram in my Dell Inspiron i7559-763BLK was a Hynix 8GB HMT41GS6BFR8A PC3L 12800 1.35v

Synology does not appear to provide much guidance on memory selection. However, this module has worked for me in a Synology DS1815+ NAS.

Comment; I have not measured this Memory module impact on battery life (duration of charge), since I didn't measure how it was with the lesser size RAM and different brand module that it replaced, but at least it hasn't shortened battery life, so 5 starts there. This memory went into my wife's entry level, Office and Google Classroom dedicated entry-level laptop, which it doesn't have touch screen, so I'll give it 5 starts to avoid giving wrong negative impression.Installation is as easy as your device allows. Meaning, in my case I needed to remove the whole bottom cover, which is 15 small screws with a small Phillips screwdriver, the removing the installed memory module and inserting this one, taking care of preventing static discharge on your memory module and rest of computer parts, is really easy. in my case just pushing the side holders to free the first one, pulling it out carefully, inserting the new module (it only goes in one position) carefully, until the side holders click in place, and finally placing back and screwing the bottom cover with its screws. Some laptops have only a small cover to remove and reach for the memory location.The module was immediately recognized by the BIOS, and by Windows 10 (64 bits) and I'm attaching a picture of the received memory module as well as a couple of screen pictures to show you.

I'm using a 2014 MSi GE 60 Apache laptop. It came with 8GB of Kingston RAM installed. These chips sold here (while on a green board; not blue like the chip the laptop shipped with) seemingly have the same specs. I installed this newly ordered chip a few minutes ago and the two chips work fine together. The machine is recognizing the full 16GB of RAM. Hope this helps any MSi laptop owners who have searched for the pre-installed Kingston MSi stickered chip but could not find it.

I have retina iMac late 2014 and through various articles was leery considering people reports of iMacs being finicky with what ram you put in it and whether or not you should install ram in pairs. My iMac came with 2x4gb modules and I only added one 8gb module (this kingston ram that I just bought). the mac recognizes and works with 16gb total now. no problems so far. will update if I run into issues down the line

Contrary to HP techs you can add 8gigs to HP 15f-039wm with 15.6 " screen size and no touch window. The problem is the screws over the memory module are contact screws with C clips. They will only loosen and thenl hold. To get the cover off you must use something like a very thin knife blade at the corners and pry open the cover while placing other objects to keep the side pried open. The cover has projections so you must go oround the square and pry each side the long and the short.sides. Just be careful not to break the cover since it is plastic. Once off the rest is a snap. replace the 4gig memory module with an 8gig module from Kingston. The identification of the 8gig Kingston is KVR16LS11/8 also on the module is GB PC3L 12800 CL11 204-Pin SODIMM. Kingston sent the correct module in a small plastic case that is great protection for the module. It fit no problem puttint it in and closing it up but remember to get rid of the C rings from the two screws so it will be easier to remove nest time, if their is one. I booted the malchine up and it registered 8 gigs and that was that. All in all, a very good transaction, knowledgeable seller, quici safe delivery. I will look to them again for my memory needs.

It's hard to really review RAM, but I can certify that I popped this guy right in and it has made my previously 4GB computer so much better and usable.I would encourage anyone who buys a new computer to get some additional ram, look up online how to open your computer (not as easy as I thought) and then add it. It can very easily take what feels like a lemon and make it into a solid machine.

Wonderful upgrade to my HP Notebook - 15-ac027ds (that only had 4 gig). I asked a question about this upgrade and got a 50/50 answer. A user has the same lappy I have and he mentioned it was a perfect match (and it is, I agree). while other feedback stated it was not compatible. I will say one thing in defense of the "not compatible" answer, taking apart this particular laptop is not for a newb. I suspect this was the reason for the reply. But, if you kow what you are doing and have this laptop - this memory chip is for you!!!! LOVE IT!
