Squirrel Products presents the Big Freaking Waterslide! This set comes with a water slide, installation and proper use instructions, 7 plastic ground fasteners, 28 metal anchor pins, hook and loop adhesive strips (attached to plastic ground fasteners). You’ll slide easily on this waterslide since it’s infused with a super slippery agent. Use any lawn sprinkler to spray it (sprinkler not included). You don’t need a hill to use this waterslide, but it’s important to have it on a somewhat soft surface like grass. Please do not place on gravel or rocks as that can lead to injury and tearing of the slide.

Absolutely not worth it
So I purchased this waterslide a few days before Memorial Day weekend and it arrived quickly and in good shape. Goal was to set it out and have a bunch of children ages 2-12 slide all day long on it. It started out positive but then quickly became problematic. For starters, on the 75' x 12' slide, you receive 7 sticky plastic pads. Each yellow plastic board comes with one velcro side pre-attached and then you attach the OTHER velcro side to the waterslide so in theory, it makes for a hidden anchor system. Well for one, 1 of our 7 pads had NO velcro on either side...its literally a yellow board with nothing on it..its worthless. So we were left with 6 pads for the entire 75' slide which of course doesnt make it even if you follow the manufacturers instructions. Now I had no time to get this rectified before the weekend we planned to use it so I went ahead and attached 6 of the 7 anchor pads and hoped for the best. Now the setup and anchoring went without incident, until about 20 minutes after attaching them, 3 of the sticky pads came completely loose from the waterslide (as seen in the photos). Basically the velcro stuck as it should but the sticky material came loose from the very slippery waterslide. It's as though the slide was so slippery, even the sticky material wouldn't stay. Needless to say, we had 3 pads that were now worthless and 1 pad that didn't even COME with sticky material OR velcro to begin with. So we had 3 functioning pads for 75' of waterslide.Do not buy this waterslide until they address the sticky material issue. We set this up in about 90 degree weather and it was a bright sunny day, I can't imagine what other weather conditions would have been more ideal for this.

Not worth the price.
Pros: Kids love it! Has a nice slippery surface. No soap/baby oil needed, just water. Easy to put up.Cons: The adhesive on the Velcro melts in the heat. As seen in the picture, when the Velcro melts, it does not stay attached to the slide. Grass collects on both the Velcro and slide where adhesive was so it won’t stick back together. You will need to purchase additional garden stakes because the ones that are included bend easily. I purchased 6” garden stakes. The slide has only been used 4 times by children only and already we have several tears. YOU WILL NEED DUCT TAPE! Put duct tape on the underside of each tear. Also used duct tape to put at the edges of slide where velcro had been. Hammered garden stakes through duct tape and it held very well (see pic). For what I paid, I’m not at all happy with the durability of this product.

Don’t buy!!!
The pictures are misleading. The plastic in photos looks much wider then the actual size of the plastic. Ordered 2 to create a nice long run.Received it 2 days before our picnic. Was disappointed in the size and quantity of fasteners. Only 1 person at a time can be on it. We only used them because we had told the kids coming we were going to have a gigantic waterslide. The plastic ripped from the pins after only a few slides down. The pins were pulling from ground and when we attempted to reposition them back in the ground they were bent. The velcro also started to rip from the plastic. You’d be better off saving your money and buying plastic from Lowes or Home Depot. Very disappointing and a waste of money. Would not recommend!!!!!

It’s “Freaking” awesome!
This is fantastic and I’m very pleased! The set up with the Velcro pads was fast and easy. I read competitors reviews about how hard theirs is with duct tape etc. this is cheaper and ready to go so it was easy to choose this one. My kids LOVE it. My only complaint is that it is not super thick and we already have one hole from a stick. That is our fault for not putting it on soft thick grass. We wanted a good slope and that is on the edge of our yard down into a rougher area of patchy grass and such. It is plenty thick and durable on grass as it is supposed to be used. I wish it were thick enough to put on a bit rougher ground but that would make it so heavy it would not be manageable most likely! I am going to patch the hole with above ground pool patch and it will be as good as new. I am very pleased with the slide and highly recommend it.

Not durable. Dangerous.
I bought the water slide because I wanted something more durable than the cheap water slides in the retail stores around my home. It seemed great when I set it up, but share a few slides a split formed in material. Additionally, although I used a hammer to seat the metal stakes all the way in the ground almost everyone sliding cut themselves significantly either through the tarp at the stakes (maybe on the plastic edge or the stake itself) and/or the tear in the tarp. I had to tell the kids they could not use it the first day!A waste if $120 for my family. :-(

Works well. I wonder why it's now Unavailable?
So this was really expensive for what it is, but it does work well. The neighborhood kids love it, especially with inflatable pool innertubes.Lay this out, connect the velcro pads and shove the stakes in the ground. It could use more pads, especially since they give you a ton of extra stakes. I ended up making my own pads out of plastic putty spreaders.Water is required and soap is highly recommended. I have this on a steeper-than-recommended hill and it took the kids a few attempts to figure out how to go down without getting hurt. Couple of tears (sobbing tears, not tears in the material) and rug burns, but after they learned to not goof around, they're having a lot of fun.10 min to unfold and install, 15 to pack back up. By myself.

Too expensive for what you actually get
Started to rip after the first use. There’s no hose or hose connector. It’s basically just a big blue tarp with cool Velcro pads to anchor it down. The attachments to keep it from moving are neat but not worth the money.
