Baby Cakes

I received this book as a gift when my daughter was born, over 10 years ago. Since then, I have given one to every expectant mother I know. It's a family favorite!

I love reading this book to my daughter.

Babycakes is what we read every night for bed time. My baby loves looking at the pictures and we are able to play along to the story "bouncy bounce babycakes on my lap!" It's a board book, so when it inevitably ends up in his mouth, we're not worried.

My son is very happy with his book

My son loves this book. I bought it when he was about 7 months and he still gets excited at 11 months when I read it to him. He likes the cute baby drawings and the words being sung in the rhyme.

Adorable book. We borrowed it from the library a few times with the older two kids and decided to buy it for lucky number three.

We love this sweet little book. We checked it it from the library and loved it so much that we needed our own copy. My daughter picks it at bedtime for the sweet rhyming and rhythm of the book. It’sa very durable board book that will get lots of love!

My 11 month old insists on this book before each nap and at bedtime every day. It is fun to read, and I didn't have a problem finding a cadence. My infant has a big grin on her face the whole time I read it. This is the first book she has ever pulled off the shelf by herself, and the first time she's had an obvious preference. I can read her other books, but if I try to put her to bed without reading Baby Cakes, she gets frustrated and cries, reaching for the bookshelf! I'm getting a little sick of reading it, but it always makes me smile because acting out the book delights her so much.

This is a beautiful board book...perfect for the pudgy hands of a one year old! The cadence of the story is so soothing...guess who went right to sleep? Recommended.

This little rhyming story is delightful and you can do actions throughout the book. Both my niece and son have loved this book.

I've been reading this book to my son since he was about 5 months old. He's almost 3 and still loves this story. We now read it together to his baby sister

My son doesn't sit or pay attention to this book the way he does with other Karma Wilson books. It's fine, but not great.
