70mai Dash cam pro with GPS module (optional) is a terrific combo. The camera is compact, build in high quality and excellent image and video clarity. It has got a 2K (1944P FHD) resolution and wireless connectivity to configure/ download videos/take snaps. It is compact and easy to install device coming with necessary accessories packed along with it.It's best if we connect it with GPS module, gives alert messages like, Lane departure if the vehicle change the track above 80km/hr speed, Vehicle ahead if our vehicle approaches other vehicle. This features helped me a lot while driving. Also It act as a watch dog after parking the vehicle. Senses any motion infront of the vehicle after parking and records it.Price is comparatively little high but, it's worth it. Attached night and day photos snipped from the recorded videos.Note: It does not come with memory card, we have to purchase it seperately. We can install upto 64 GB card.

I could have repaired it locally from Metro Goli for 500/- but felt the need to upgrade. After a lot of research my choice narrowed down to this 70 mai GPS pro since I wanted to test the ADAS function. I rejected DDPAI as an option because it lacks the on device screen which makes it difficult to operate on the go.Packaging: The product came a beautiful cardboard packaging with separate boxes for the main unit and the gps unit. The box itself gave a very premium feel. (Picture attached below)Contents: Inside the box the product along with its accessories were organized in a very sophisticated way. The main unit was placed properly in with separate cubicles for accessories which include the following.1- 2 meter USB cable2- A 3.4 amp charger with fast charging3- 2 Electrostatic stickers (one with the main unit and the other with the GPS unit)4- A pry tool for installation5- GPS unit with 3M double sided tape (very strong)The fit and finish of the product as very premium compared to other dashcams in the market. The screen is wide enough and offers enough view to operate it. The camera is adjustable upto 45 to 60 degrees.Installation: Installation can be tricky one if you don't follow the guide or watch a installation video. You must stick the electrostatic sticker before pasting the GPS module and then attach the main unit to it. Now the wiring part can be a little bit tricky if you are a non technical person who doesn't know the nooks and corners of his car. You can go for straight wiring from device to 12V port or you can choose to conceal the wiring behind the trims. (You may need professional help if you are not aware of how to do this)The two possible paths you can take-1- Roof trim- A pillar- door beeding- dash side fascia- behind the glove box-charging port2- Upto door beeding it's same but after that you can take it below the floor mat and then to the charger.My personal choice is the later one because of easier maintenance and less chances of wire squeezing.Utility: The video quality is excellent in 2K format ( other formats also available) and with a 64GB of memory card (class 10 or above mind it) it will record for a really long time which you don't need to bothered about.Extra Features: 1-ADAS ( advanced driver assistance)2- Twenty four hour parking surveillance.3- Internal battery of around 500mAh so there is no stop to the recording when you're restarting your engine.Video Quality: Speaks for itself in the attached videos. You can clearly zoom and see the number plates of vehicles given you're watching the original quality directly from the app.Android/iOS App: The device can be connected to the apps to download the videos and access some additional settings but the app (especially on iOS is kind of glitchy so it might get on your nerves once in a while)Seller Support: In one word EXCELLENT. I didn't know if this was a general issue which everyone is facing or not but my GPS unit was not be functioning correctly. The speed and coordinates keeps disappearing intermittently. I mailed the seller mentioning the problem and attaching a video link. The seller, no questions asked, sent me a replacement module within 24 hours through Blue Dart Air. The new module is performing better but still I believe it's in R&D stage and have glitches so I accepted and move on.CONS:1) The GPS module is a bit glitchy. It tends to lose signal when in interior roads. Since it is powered directly after every engine restart it will take some time to establish satellite connectivity but acceptable given the device is new and still in R&D stage.2) The device gets a bit heated up.3) The android/ios app is absolutely trash and connectivity issues. ( Xoami seriously needs to work on this)4) It only comes with only 2 electrostatic stickers so if you change your windshield you might have tough time procuring one. A lot of the are available on Ali Express but given the current scenario no cheap Chinese Career is shipping to India. Only via UPS/FedEx which will cost you more than the device. 😅

Really awesome dash cam. Installation is very easy, I could conceal the cables and wires entirely and very easily. Using it around 15 days, I think it’s a really good dash cam. I have taken the GPS module and it voice alerts during lane change (over 80 kms speed), vehicle infront of me and also at the signal if the vehicle ahead of me starts moving after green signal.Picture quality is awesome and night shooting is very clear and you can see everything.It accepts only 4 voice commands....”Take Picture”, “Record Video”, “Turn on Screen” and “Turn off Screen”.When you command “Record Video” based on your pre-settings of recording videos of 1 min/ 2 mins / 3 mins, it will record the video accordingly and will secure. Loop recording won’t delete these videos.I felt, 64GB card is too less space to shoot video at 4K quality if you are driving in mountains or in very picturesque road. Perhaps this device is not for recording fun but actually for safety but due to it’s high quality recording, it’s difficult to resist yourself on recording videos.Company recommends 64GB memory card but I think it will work with 128GB which I would like to try after couple of months later. Samsung EVO Plus 64GB micro SD card I have purchased which is working absolutely fine.After inserting the new micro SD card, device will format it automatically, you don’t have to take any extra pain.The good part is, after pairing the device with 70mai app, you can watch the road through this app in your mobile or iPad/Tablet and actually people traveling with you can enjoy it.Just beware that if you keep your settings to record your voice/songs then actually it records the video with your voices...so before showing the videos someone senior member of your family or kids, please be careful of any abuses or slang language which you might have used during driving..hahaha!! You have the option to turn-off voice recording in the 70mai app.
