KIPON IBERIT 75mm F2.4 Full Frame Lenses for Sony E Mount Mirrorless Camera (Black)

I really like everything about this lens. I’ve used it for over two months now - the color rendering and optics in general are perfect. The focus ring is perfectly dampened, and even works well in sub-freezing temperatures (albeit slower, which is forgivable). The aperture ring is clicked, the depressions of which are well defined and easy to recognize. It may seem that compared to other Chinese lenses that this is overpriced, especially considering the faster apertures on cheaper lenses such as the 7artisans or Kamlan. However, I can tell you a few things from experience with the 7Artisans 55mm f1.4: it is built cheaply, the color rendering is poor and it vignettes even on a crop sensor. Conversely, Kipon’s 75mm 2.4 is a bit slower, however, it also doesn’t vignette, has perfect optics and color, doesn’t fall apart (which I had one 7Artisans do) and is simply a pleasure the use. Kipon clearly put a lot of passion and thought into this product, and it shows in the result. I am VERY happy to have spent the price of this, and I expect others will be as well.
