Extended warranty on gazebo
Bought a gazebo and was destroyed by winter storm. Manufacturer's warranty not offered for weather related events. Called Asurion and explained what happened. I was seamlessly reimbursed for the purchased price, expeditiously. No hassle! Great company! I highly recommend that you add them to all your eligible purchases.

Protection plus fast service
I had purchased a chainsaw, weed trimmer machine and I purchased the protection plan offered by this vendor. After a couple of years the chainsaw stopped working. I filed a claim and within minutes I was refunded the purchase price. A pleasant experience.

READ THE FINE PRINT
I've paid for Asurion coverage for MANY products and never had to use it. However, this last time, for the pool pump, I DID have to use it. However, when I filed my claim, it turned into something of a circus. After many emails, back and forth, the company did give me a full refund. I'm happy with it.

Save your money and skip this option - For pool equipment this is basically useless
DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY! Pool cleaner stopped working, checked in with warranty company and takes WEEKS to send it to them and have a repair done, making it effectively useless. The people were more or less helpful but their solution is a non starter, Imagine your pool without a cleaner for a few weeks in the AZ summer heat. It'll need drained and acid washed, so it'd be cheaper to just throw away the cleaner and buy a new one rather than wait for this. Had they told me up front when I bought the cleaner that the warranty would take anywhere near this long i would have saved the $40+. I have used this service for other items and been happy with them, but for pool equipment their process takes WAY too long.

Better Safe than Sorry
This is the most difficult review for Amazon I’ve done… How to review insurance😅 I added the extended warranty “just in case”. So far, (the item is relatively new), I’ve not had to use the policy AND I hope I never have to. There on the other hand… It’s there if I need it! I like that last part.
