This is a magnificent product at this price point.
I admit that I was a bit skeptical about this product type, being unfamiliar with the concept of the "Air Remote Mouse". In fact, I was looking for a replacement for an abysmal remote control that I'd tried to use to manage the control of both my aging TV/Monitor and connected Android-based IPTV device. This product both delighted and surprised me with its functionality out of the box. It's capable of BOTH Infrared control (for my aging TV) AND wireless radio control by means of a connected wireless receiver in a USB port of the Android IPTV. The accelerator-controlled mouse (meaning that the mouse is controlled by the movement through the air of the device as you hold it in your hand) works superbly. But, if it gets in the way, you can turn it off and use the left-right-up-down controller to navigate a LOT of the functions and buttons that are presented by today's user interfaces (UI) that we're accustomed to on our phones, mobile, and desktop computers. While there are only 4 programmable IR buttons, (hint: you'll find there are REALLY 5, when you discover that the master power button can also be mapped to control your IR-controlled TV) they're really plenty to control most IR-based TVs. I have my programmed to 1) turn on my Android IPTV (yeah, it has an IR receiver to control on/off), 2) to raise the volume of my TV, 3) to lower the volume of my TV, and 4) to switch my TV's inputs between my ROKU and the Android IPTV box.In short, I found this little device to be PACKED full of functionality that works EXACTLY as described (and, quite honestly, even better than you might expect). This is a great value and kudos to the designers and manufacturers.

Not that functional but it's so inexpensive and fixes LG Magic remote frustrations
I bought this remote for $10 to control my LG C1 by plugging the dongle into one of the TV's USB ports. Unfortunately, many of the buttons aren't functional and the keyboard is difficult to use because even with the backlight it's hard to see what the letters are.So why give it 5 stars? Because the space bar is a pause button. Is that worth $10? Yes, yes it is. For some reason, there is no pause button on the LG Magic remote when using Plex or Amazon. You have to press enter once to bring up the transport display then press enter again to pause. It just drives me crazy. When I'm watching sports and want to pause or pausing the credits to see who one of the actors is, it's a huge pain since the transport display disappears after a few seconds. So to be able to pause with one button exactly when you want it is a huge convenience. Also, the FF and RW transport buttons are a huge convenience in the Amazon streaming app. Fast forwarding with the Magic remote in the Amazon app is awful.

Will not power on easytone t9 android box from off
I bought this to replace the remote that came with my easytone t9 android TV box. It works except for a few important deal breaking functions. If the android box is fully powered off or put to sleep too long the remote stops responding and the power button will not power on the box. The USB ports must not remain powered when the box is in sleep and off. The included remote does not use a dongle and powers up from these conditions fine. The air mouse is really nice as is j acing a handy keyboard on the remote. I enjoy pinball Sims on my android box and sadly this remotes keyboard will not allow select keys to act like flipper buttons thus making them unplayable. Only if the box is already powered up and are apps that are basic type button or keypad functions where the air mouse can be utilized is this remote of any use. The whole idea was to have the air mouse and the keyboard which I do but no way to set buttons for my pinball Sims or any games requiring select buttons to function. If I have to have a remote only to turn the box on might as well just stick with that most of the time. Really sucks because otherwise I like this remote. So be warned if you have the same model android TV box. No power to the dongle once the box sleeps too long or shuts down completely.

Skip over this one
Forget trying to program this thing. It just doesn't work out. Apparently you have to do it per button, but that doesn't work correctly. Additionally you are suppose to being able to program different devices per color but it just compeletly ignores that. It seems only one button will register for one device at any given time. The instructions are garbage. I looked ones that I could actually make sense of online and those didn't work either, other than registering one button. This is the first of two remotes I bought and they are basically the same thing. They have to be by the same manufacturer and just rebranded. The other one I bought has color buttons (I left a review) and this one probably has the same issues but for the sake of reviewing this product as is I will only talk about my experience with it.I am using this with a Raspberry Pi 4 media center. I was able to program the one button for power on the TV. The keyboard on the back is super neat and useful. It has good battery life too. The mouse mode is barely usable. Not that you'd want to use it anyway in a media center but the remote tends to switch to it on its own just to mess with you. I guess this is kinda of a nitpick because it only takes a button press (maybe two as the first never registers) to switch back to the other mode.I won't remove any more stars because of my limited use with it, but I'm certain if I kept trying to work the thing it would be in bits by now. Currently I only use it for the context button (aka right click, aka the button the brings up the alternate menu) as my new Visio TV's remote works perfect for navigating the media center on the Raspberry Pi (I guess through CEC). So it lives in the couch console now... opposed to being in-between the couch cushions.

Best Air Mouse with full Keyboard & Backlight
Have tried many air mouse of different brand and make, this is functionally the best amongst them. This is also the 2nd one I bought, only that 1st one didn't have backlight.

Feels good in the hand and responsive in android boxes.
This is a quality feeling remote control for an android box or pc. I use it with ease as it has a keyboard to input usernames and passwords easier when you flip it over. It feels heavier and not flimsy plastic like others so it feels nice in the hand and the air mouse pointer is responsive but not jumpy, just smooth and lovely to use.

Nice Remote but the backlight does not blue text on keyboard.
The air mouse works fine, well as good as any other, The buttons work well, Get a usb extension cable and plug the wifi dongle to get it away from your device Ariel or you might get interference. My only problem is the blue text on the keyboard does not show at all in the dark even with the blacklight enabled. That`s It.John.

Doesn't always work
Not all the buttons respond all the time. Some buttons I had to press 2 or 3 times before it worked.I made sure I had brand new batteries when I first started using this..The 'air mouse' seemed to have a mind of its own and wouldn't go where I pointed/aimed it

Not up to my standards...
The remote was ok, felt a bit weak and also got some sharp edges... When you use the keyboard it feels like your going to break it and very noisy... Couldn't get the vol. to work or the channel button, so I returned it... It might be suitable for some but not for me...
