YOU WANNA GO TO HEAVEN? This is definitely the answer to cure all those covid-19 blues. Try something new. This lavender flavoring is so amazingly delicious I cannot tell you. I'm an avid Baker. I don't mind spending a little more for a great product, but at almost $8 per ounce (yes, per ounce) it took practically pulling my eyeteeth to shell out $16 for a bottle of this extract. But because of the reviews, I jumped in and took a chance. All I can say is you will be soooo wowed with the flavor... it's mild but definite, not soapy. Just deliriously delicious. I made lavender butter cookies with this extract and some ground Angustifolia Lavender . When I gave it to my husband to try, he said the flavor was fantastic but he just couldn't put his finger on what the flavor was! When I told him it was lavender he couldn't believe it. Now listen - if this adult man; lover of Italian Food, meat, gravy and potatoes says Lavender is delicious, you know it's got to be something amazing!

Very pleasant gentle flavor. I searched all over to find how much extract would be enough without overpowering my cake. I started by adding 1/4 tsp at a time until I came up with what I think is a fairly good rule of thumb: If the recipe calls for 1 tsp of vanilla, you can safely substitute this extract one for one.

I purchased this extract for a pair of sweets recipes, but I'd never used rose extract before and didn't know what to expect. I feared the finished product would taste artificial, or worse, 'perfumy'. But, I was pleasantly surprised by its delicate flavor. Nonetheless, use it with the same frugality and precision that one may exercise with other flavor-intense extracts, such mint or almond. I tend to guesstimate vanilla extract in recipes (i.e., 1 tsp = one splash), but I definitely used a measuring spoon for this. I couldn't resist adding an 1/8 tsp to my morning smoothie, and I must say a chocolate-rose smoothie makes a deliciously unusual treat.

I had been trying to find a TRUE rose essence that is not a syrup loaded with sugar. This genuinely has the real essence of fresh roses without any sweetness. This is very hard to come by, so I'm definitely going to be ordering more. I see they have other flavours so I'm going to try some of them as well. It's hard to find floral essence like rose, lavender or violet that aren't loaded with sugar and HFCS, but this is the real deal. Love it, highly recommend it, and will definitely purchase more.

Oh this is FANTASTIC!!! It’s clear in color but has such a beautiful scent and flavor. I’ve already made White Chocolate Lavender And Blackberry scones, French Vanilla Lavender Muesli and a lavender cheesecake. You can substitute lavender in where your recipe calls for vanilla or just add it in! You don’t need much so be careful!

Made a delicious lavender lemonade tea

Very clean and potent. Love using it to add lavender flavor to my coffee drink which I blend french press coffee with ketogenic creamer, collagen, organic grass fed butter. The extract gives me that pure lavender flavor.

Bottle was larger than expected so the price is really good for how much you get. I had been searching for Rose flavoring to mix in cocktails but many of the syrups and flavoring options had reviews they were too sweet or just not enough rose essence. This ended up being perfect. A little goes a long way - the Rose flavor is potent enough to be able to taste it through whatever your making. Might take a little experimentation on how much to use because I could see it being easy to overdo it, so definitely start with a little and add more to taste.
