Arrived on time, I use it to hold castor oil that I apply to lashes at night. The brush is medium sized and even though I have tiny lashes, I don't have a problem using it because the tip of the brush is small. I was use a q tip to apply my oil and I like using the brush better because the brush helps to stimulate circulation and I coat my lashes much better. It appears that my lashes are much more healthier and I noticed thickness and a little length with this method.

When I first recieved this it smelt horrid. A light wash took care of that though. It does indeed come with a stopper. The stopper fits good but when you put the wand in, then take it out the stopper comes out with it. I had to glue the stopper into the container with a very small drop of super glue. I purchased this so I could put a mixture of castor oil, coconut oil, and vitamin e oil for my eyebrows. I used it for about 2 weeks everything was going good and my eyebrows were actually growing thicker. I had forgotten to put it on for about 4 days in a row but remembered to put it on today. I looked at the container this morning and a strang yellow mold covered the bottom of the container (on the inside) there was also a little bit of the same mold growing on the wand. I looked very closely at it to make sure it wasn't just eyebrows hairs accidentally pulled off then put in the container. Nope, it's definitely mold.

I received the item faster than expected. I was only using this for castor oil for my lashes. I got the item and used droppers to put the oil in. I leave this on my work at home office desk because I apply it in the mornings when I start work. There is no lip to get the excess oil off. So I'm stuck having to scrape the sides to remove the extras. I guess this is ok. Some of the oil spilled onto my desk a few days after I got it. It may have been because the lid wasn't on properly or it may be because there is no lip. So I tightened the lid and crack...the top part cracked from my tightening it. Now I am no strong arm woman. I am very weak in the arm. So I am not sure how I did this. It kinda made me for a moment believed I was MS STRONG AMERICA...then I realized it was just because the lid is super flimsy:( I would not recommend this product because there is not a lip to remove excess mascara or whatever else you may put in here. The lid has broken from my weak arms tightening it. It was cheap and you get what you pay for.

I wanted to use this mascara tube to treat my eyelashes with castor oil and it was complicted to use and was a total disaster in my cosmetic drawer :(The price is right, the tube looks solid, and there was some kind of plug (or "lip" a transparent plastic piece) inserted on the wand, but somehow it doesn't work for me inserted in the tude, it seems too thin to successfully sqeeeze off the extra oil and I got my castor oil all over my cosmetic drawer. Maybe I received a product with a defect, I don't know, but I'm very disappointed.Given the great price, and since I had it delivered to Europe, I didn't want to go through the hassle of sending it back, but I am REALLY disappointed by this product.I can't see what use someone could make of this product, whatever type of filling you may use.I searched a lot and finally found an empty mascara tube with a wand that clearly shows a black rubber lip that seemed to be designed to squeeze the excess oil off the wand. I am delighted with it!If you don't want to risk running into a similar problem, check the pictures of your mascara tube you wish to purchase really carefully, to see if the rubber lip is included or not, and how fat it may be. The one I purchased has a fatter lip than the "lip" that came with this mascara tube and it is made of rubber instead of plastic. I bought this for an eyelash serum I had made (yes I want thick beautiful lashes). The wand is very coarse (not at all like a mascara wand) and the bristles are not eyeball friendly. The plastic tube just looks cheap. Not worth it. I ended up going with a rollerball instead.

I purchased this to place castor oil in it, but it leaks if knocked over and the wand isn't large enough so there's too much product on the wand. In nicer mascara bottles the stopper helps control how much product stays on the wand, but this product doesn't do that very well. I'm still on the hunt for a decent empty mascara tube.

It ships directly from China (which I did not realize when I ordered it). Other products that I have mistakenly ordered that shipped directly from China had an overly chemical smell. I'm concerned the products are not regulated, and could have harmful chemicals. I am concerned about using something on my eyes that could be contaminated with chemicals. The reason I bought this was to make my own mascara to avoid chemicals that were irritating my eyes.

It was supposed to have the white plastic in the bottle around the rim as displayed in the picture. That was the only reason for me to buy this product. This white rubber thing is very functional. With out it, it is hard to keep the oil without leaking from the bottle. It was a cheap buy but still a total waste of my money because I can not use it with out the rim. SO it's a zero rating basically.
