Frannie & Mack
Irresistible by Melanie Harlow is the 1st standalone novel in the Cloverleigh Farms series which is complete.Tropes:✔️ FM Romance✔️ Single Dad/ Nanny✔️ Small Town Romance✔️ Workplace Romance✔️ Age Gap✔️ Available on KUPOV: First Person Duel 👩🧑Rating: 8/10 (⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️)🌶🌶️/3🌶 Starts about 30%Frannie is precious and Mack is the best father (those three girls are so cute and hilarious) I just want to give him a big hug. They definitely have chemistry and are complete fire together. Definitely a lot of unnecessary self sacrifice throughout this story (mostly from Mack) and I am so glad that someone was able to smack some sense into him. I love that Frannie was finally able to stand up for herself and go after what she wanted and the entire family dynamic on Cloverleigh Farms is heartwarming. Can’t wait for the other sisters.✨I looked at her on the floor at my feet and thought, Either I’m about to die and that was life’s final parting gift, or I’m in love with her.✨

hot single dad AND age gap…🔥🔥🔥
Mack is one of those guys who you just can’t help but fall head over heels for. He’s the single dad who owns that job title. His girls love him deeply and they KNOW that they are loved deeply in return. He has this desire to make sure they know their worth even with the lack of their mother in their life.Frannie is the sheltered girl who has made it this far in life living in a little bubble. Mack was her dream guy, even though he was 10 years older…but the heart crushes on what the heart wants to crush on.Mack sees Frannie for the woman she has become and he just wants her to meet all of her potential. She has been so instrumental in making sure that he and his daughters are given everything in life and that they are well taken care of. Her heart for those girls and her willingness to make Mack’s life a little easier reels him in. She’s almost too good to be true, & more than Mack thought he could ever want or deserve. His girls steal the show when they are present & they stole my heart right along with it.

So good
I love these characters and all their realness. Mack and his language, Frannie and her goodness, and all the other characters. A great love story with true angst.

The nanny and the single dad
Irresistible is about Mack and Frannie and his three daughters. Mack is a single dad raising three young girls. He’s thirty-seven and divorced. Mack is the CFO of Cloverleigh Farms where Frannie works as the receptionist.Frannie is also a part-time nanny for Mack as well as the bosses daughter of Cloverleigh Farms. She’s twenty-seven and single living in the inn on the farm basically she still lives at home just in her own space. She enjoys baking and hopes to one day have her own bakery. She’s the youngest of five sisters. When Mack divorced his wife he took on a huge responsibility of becoming not only dad but mom to his three young girls. While Frannie was his nanny she was only a temporary replacement. The babysitter helped on occasions but the primary responsibility was left to Mack who also had a full-time job.Frannie was a special child with a different childhood then her older sisters. She was treated with kid gloves and homeschooled. She didn’t get to travel or experience the same childhood activities as her sisters. For that she wasn’t very close with her sisters. Her parents, mostly her mother, smothered and coddled her. Even at twenty-seven her mother was still making decisions for how she lives her life. Frannie wants to be independent with the ability to live her own life and make her own choices.Mack has been playing the roles of both mom and dad to his kids for a year sacrificing his own needs. He just wants to have time with a woman but his time and attention is devoted to three young girls. He’s not a perfect father nor a perfect man, but he can’t help crave the touch and intimacy a woman provides. He’s a man with many excuses as to why dating isn’t something he can make time for, yet he allows time for sex.The cover is a show stopper. The single dad trope is a favorite of mine.I was looking forward to reading about all the ways Mack has taken on all the responsibilities as a single dad while juggling work and family. Instead the story focused on juggling sex with the nanny. I had hoped Frannie’s character would have been portrayed as something more significant than a good lay. Mark’s biggest complaints rest on deaf ears when he made time for sex and allocated time for Frannie to spend time with his girls. He’s already conquering his fears without even realising it. For me this ruined the illusion of single dad. The role reversal is sexy not when it’s contradicted with complaints.Frannie has her own sets of issues to deal with. Her relationship with her sisters is a situation that she needs to remedy by including them into her life. Her situation with her parents is a topic all too common in many households.Parents are a huge influence after all they molded her into the woman she is today. What’s disappointing is when Mack has thoughts about Frannie they are always sexual. He limits her to a person of sex not as a woman who will fit into his life with the girls which she already does.Overall this is a story about change and adapting to that change by finding new ways to live life given the circumstances. This is referenced as a small town romance, but the story didn’t center around that trope. Instead the center focused on the small town connections in a positive way not addressing the typical issues.

100% worth reading
I love everything about this book! I’m obsessed with single dads… I read ignite before reading this book so I was already obsessed with Winnie she’s such a funny little girl! I love Frannie and I cried when she opened up to Chloe about being ill as a child and how she feels like her older sisters must have resented her for taking away the attention from them. This really resonated with me as I was diagnosed very young with two lifelong illnesses and have always felt this way. Although I’m yet to have that talk with my own 4 older siblings but it really made my heart ache! I adore this book and it’s such an easy read! Melanie Harlow really knows how to write a good romance!

Ideal for a quick afternoon piece of escapism reading.
Irresistible is book one of Cloverleigh Farms contemporary romances.Mack is a single father of three young daughters who struggles with the demands of parenthood. Frannie is his part-time nanny and the daughter of his employer, but he can’t help his romantic thoughts for her when she is around.Frannie adores Mack and his children and has been harbouring a secret crush on him for ages. There’s definitely a spark of feeling between them, but Mack is adamant, with his complicated and demanding homelife, that nothing permanent can come from it.This is a fun and sweet romance with some heated romantic scenes. I particularly liked Mack’s children, especially when they called him out on his swearing and his bad behaviour. Ideal for a quick afternoon piece of escapism reading.

Worth a read. Very good story telling
Mack is a divorced father of three girls and they live with him after their mother left him for another guy. He is trying hard to balance his work life with looking after his family and Frannie is helping by being a nanny on days that he needs her. She is great with the kids and there have been times he looks and wants her until one night he does and it was just too good. They start to sneak around with Mach hating the guilt he feels and she is so much younger than him but she makes him feel human. Fran doesnt care she wants him and his girls. Well written and well balanced story.

Totally irresistible❤️
Loved this. Beautifully written and totally unputdownable....The visuals that Ms Harlow has described perfectly in this book had me laughing out loud... Mack is such a great dad and the interactions with his daughters are human and real... I love that this isn’t an unrealistic chocolate box family but true family life... warts and all!!Frannie is a breath of fresh calming air to them all and deserves her chance to be a part of their family.
