I noticed that during evening and nighttime exercise routines, cars were getting a little closer than I was comfortable with. Despite wearing a high-vis shirt, I think they just weren't seeing me in time. After remembering how all the Army folks run around with those reflective belts on, I figured I'd look for something similar. This product right here has fit the ticket, and I've been quite happy.The velcro connectors are very well stitched in, and show no signs of wear from being disconnected and reconnected many times. The glow in the dark pigment works well enough that a nearby car headlight or a stop at a liquor store will turn you into a green hoop running through the night. The reflectors are top-notch. I've put the belt on objects and gone a ways away to test it. Even with minimal light, this belt has some pretty vivid reflection. Would recommend to others.

I use this for cycling -- it is always strapped around my backpack, and hugely adds to visibility on the road, day and night. This rating would be five stars if the strap were more durable. Note that I'm subjecting this belt to much higher forces than it was designed for, strapped around a backpack and pushed around by shifting bag contents and bag opening/closing. As it is, I need to carefully repair the belt every few months with thick clear packing tape -- if I didn't do these repairs the belt would tear in half. All worth the effort for the fantastic road visibility increase. Less than three years after purchase, tears started in areas much harder to repair (at velcro ends), and I had to buy a second one. This belt should be more than strong enough for its intended purpose, worn directly by a person.

I volunteer with a group that assists in times of natural disaster. As such, we are required to train with the military on occasion. Recently we had to train at one of the Air Force bases and were required to wear a reflective belt while on the flight line. I bought this for that purpose and it worked well. The adjustment and fit were as expected.

This is a really good conspicuity item. The retro-reflective dots are very bright, and work from pretty oblique angles, and the photoluminescent bits work reasonably well too. It's just the right size so it can be worn as either a belt or sash (we call it the Safety Sash), and the velcro closure holds well, but no so well that it could snag and drag you.

VERY nice PT belt. If you can't be seen with this, something is wrong. It does its job above and beyond. I used one in the service, but this one puts the old military style to shame.

Made well, reflective and luminous, easily adjustable and a must for safety when on the road. The hook & loop closure could be more of a commercial grade so it could grip more tightly but it serves its purpose. All in all, well worth the safety factor to become visible so you don't get hit by vehicles in the dark. I'd purchase it again

Solid construction and will reflect from a great distance, would recommend to anyone who participates in activities that require one of these. One thing I didn't notice in the product description the belt glows in the dark, caught me by surprise the first morning I went to grab it out of the closet. Great product will buy again.

This is an excellent, adjustable, HIGHLY REFLECTIVE belt that's well made and has a velcro closure for easy on-&-off. Almost exactly 5 feet long, it can be worn over the shoulder in bandolier fashion, or around the waist and adjusted to fit easily over outerwear. The glow-in-the-dark feature (great for the twilight hours) is renewable by exposing it to bright light for several seconds.Always wear something reflective for after dark walks/runs, and please realize that your runner reflectors are just not sufficient. Carry a flashlight, lightstick or other luminescent object when outside after dark. Cars cannot see you without help. Give drivers a chance to avoid running into you. Always walk facing oncoming traffic to give yourself time to react to any erratically operated vehicles. Don't end up a road statistic.

Great Cyalume item and a great price. I wear it when I jog. I can't even tell I have it on. It lights up like a Christmas tree when cars approach me while jogging at night. Would buy again.
