Think Crucial 2 Replacement Air Filter, Fit Holmes HAPF600

Cheapo cardboard encased version of the real thing, which has a plastic frame. In addition, these filters use an imprecise friction fit into the machine instead of clipping on to the tabs on the machine that the Holmes brand filters use, makes me seriously question whether or not they make a good seal with the machine. The way the carbon filters attach on to this HEPA filter is also second rate and leaves a lot of gaps. Finally, the filters initially give off a distinctive odor to when the purifier is running. The odor isn't terrible, but it isn't great either. Thank heaven the odor goes away within a day or so. Still, pretty stupid to have odorous air ever blowing out as this is an air purifying machine!Will not buy these again.

These are a great replacement for my Holmes HAPF 600D HEPA air purifier! Not only are they less expensive than the manufacturer’s version, but making them out of cardboard rather than plastic reduces the amount of time in landfills! And for those who wrote a bad review because these are not the “same” as the OEM replacement filters, I’m assuming you’re part of the population who drives me insane by giving products a negative rating when it’s actually your own fault for not reading the description in the first place since it clearly states it’s not the same plastic version!!!

You get what you pay for. Not exact replacement for OEM filters and they have a cardboard housing. Name brand usually has rubber or plastic housing. But it seems to be working so far.

So far, so good! Seems like the filters are working well. They don't come with the plastic surrounding the actual filter and that concerned me, but they seem to be cut a little larger and fit in snugly.....I guess time will tell but for now I am pleased!

First time I've had to change the filters for my Holmes Air Purifier, and these were a perfect fit. Arrived ahead of promised delivery date and slipped right in w/o any trouble at all. Someone commented that the frame is cardboard, not plastic, which is a plus in my book.

These fit perfectly into my machine. They do not have a spot to stick the black mesh to them like the name brand ones do.

Works nicely.

Dont fit at all, waste of money
