nice, but uneasy to install
Nice device, provides enough light for a medium-size frame, but there are mounting brackets only on the back, which supposes one must drill holes in the wall, which one doesn't always want to do if someday you want to move or replace the picture. So I had to make a plate and attach it to the rear of the frame. An alternative mounting solution would be very useful

Great picture light
This is the second one of these lights that I have purchased. It does a good job of illuminating a medium size picture. Much better than incandescent light. Easy to mount. Looks great. Amazon has the best price with free shipping.

Too Dim
Almost immediately after installation, the lights went dim. I'm searching for replacement bulbs but if they are going to be dim as a rule, I guess I don't need to hurry.

Not good
Batteries do not last 24 hours using it only in daytime hours. I have used different brand batteries and the time is the same, uses way too much battery power. Would not recommend to anyone, not even my worst enermy. Sorry Charlie! I have used it long enough to know that I cannot afford the batteries it requires.

LED's are the Only Way to Go!
We have had this picture light in use for a number of months now. My fear was that the batteries would have to be replaced every week, or so, as we do use this fixture almost every evening. It is just as bright (excellent light) as the day we put it up. It was easy to attach to the wall (or we could have put it on the frame). The remote is easy to use and works equally well.

Marginal At Best
This light really doesn't put out enough light for more than an 8 x10 photo -- maybe. This seems to be a case of "you get what you pay for," and now I know I need to spend more money on a higher-quality, more powerful picture light. I was hoping to light the feathers on an incredibly detailed bird photo I purchased that is about 20 inches long. The effect of this light is marginal at best, and this photo really deserves a better light. This is an attractive-looking picture light and you can adjust the direction of the LED lights, which helps a bit, but not much.

great art light
This is a wonderful product that can just be placed behind your artwork and no attaching to the wall or painting. Very convenient and easy to use. Not sure about battery life yet b ut the remote makes life very easy
