Amazon needs to step in and ask the seller of this product to remove "Made in USA" label from the picture and anywhere else this page. This is a deceptive tactic and even Walmart is being investigated for these false claims. The tag in the received mattress says Made in China. As a product, it is thin and does not provide even basic comfort. It is just a topper and that exactly what the label included in packaging says. Nowhere in the description of this product is the word "topper" mentioned. Knowing what a pain is to return it, we decided to used it, yes, as a topper for our existing sofa bed mattress.

I just moved in with my parents -yay! I moved into a small bedroom which was being used as a den/guest room. It has a Lazy Boy sleep sofa. If used occasionally, guest can deal with the lack of support. I use it ever day. I checked with a Lazy Boy retailer and Lazy Boy sells a similar mattress for about $500 - that's nuts! This came in just a couple of days, rolled up. Unroll it somewhere so it can lay flat and let it air out a little before using it (a little smelly when first unwrapped, that's typical). I tried one out at the Lazy Boy Store - this is the same mattress for less than 1/2 the price! While it is much improved over a standard mattress it will not change the sleeper sofa from soft support to firm. The problem is with the foundation of the sleeper. Typically there is a metal frame and a durable "cloth" is suspended between the frame attached via springs. So this mattress, while much better than the stock one, will droop in the same way the old one did. What I did was to remove some of the springs and run ratchet-straps under the foundation. (BE CAREFUL!!!) Do Not over-tighten the straps or you will rack the frame out of alignment. The springs, cables and hinges used for the hide-away feature are fairly fragile. If you do it right you can turn a soft, uncomfortable sleeper into a firm and great night of sleep. If you over do the ratcheting it can be a real bear trying to get the sleeper to close up. Fortunately for me my neighbor is a master welder; he helped me fix the frame.

For such a small mattress i was pleasantly surprised at how comfortable it is! I can no longer feel the hard bars on my pull out sofa. My 185lb son sleeps on it and he was also very comfortable. It came packaged in a flat roll so the box was not extremely large. A great buy!

Replaced my existing sofa sleeper mattress with this. Very comfortable. Still closes nicely. If it was one inch thicker, it wouldn't close so they got it just right. Great product and a must-have if you're dealing with an uncomfortable mattress.

Fantastic mattress. My 6'2 nephew used it for an entire week and commented on how comfortable it was. He is a big boy and did not feel the couch rods under the mattress. I am exceptionally pleased with this purchase and would highly recommend it.

I weigh 250. I sleep on this almost every night since I snore like a freight train. In some positions I can feel the upper bar but just barely. Maybe I'm different because my weight is spread out. ( I look like a pro linebacker). I use it on a pull-out couch. It folds nicely. I absolutely love it.

We purchased this for our sleeper sofa in our fifth wheel for my 3 year old. If you like soft mattresses you'll like this one.I ended up falling asleep on it the first night out in our trailer and woke up feeling like a million bucks.It's actually more comfortable than our $2,700 mattress in our home... go figure.Fast shipping too!

continues to have a smell to it even after a month open and on the bed. We just put it on top of the old mattress and left the bed open for a guest bed. Very comfortable to sleep on. The fragrence is noticable just as you get into bed, but not as you continue to lie there. Has not interrupted my sleep. overall, satisfied.
