E-More HDMI to 1080P Component Video (YPbPr) Scaler Converter Supporting Coaxial Audio Output(Type1)

This works perfectly with the new Comcast/Xfinity X1 DVR box. I have an older JVC TV that has no HDMI inputs. The TV works great and has a super clear picture so I didn't want to be forced to get a new TV (I could have stayed with Direct TV, but the deal Comcast offered was too good to pass up!). Also of note, my TV is 1080i. When looking for a converter box I noticed some only work with 1080p. THIS WILL WORK WITH 1080i so no worries there.I purchased a Kanex converter from a local MicroCenter. It worked, but the conversion wasn't clean. There were lines in the picture so somehow it wasn't properly converting the signal. I returned it and was back the to drawing board when I came across this one online. The other reviews seemed promising so I went with it.THIS CONVERTER DID THE TRICK! It's super easy to use and the picture is GREAT! It's flawless. You wouldn't know there was a converter running the signal to the TV unless I told you. It's looks just as good, if not better, than what I'm used to. After you hook it up, play around with the resolution button on the front. This will allow you to get the best picture for your TV. In fact, the picture fits my screen better now than when I had Direct TV.The price is awesome too! If you're looking for an HDMI to Component converter, look no farther...this is the one!

The device works fine, just get random resolution input and output messages on my screen. Haven't found anyway to stop it, kind of a pain but it make my old projection TV (with no HDMI) to work well with my XBOX ONE and Direct TV. It shows on my screen for a few seconds and then goes away, then flashes on again, then off, then on after awhile You get the idea. My TV is 1080i and Xbox only puts out 1080p No 1080i option

Stopped working after using it for less than one year! Bought this unit to continue to use our Plasma TV with no HDMI inputs. Worked great for six months or so, then stopped receiving signal.

Got a new cable box and my old Flintstone TV did not have a HDMI port so I needed this converter. Did a lot of research and this one looked like the best bet. Easy to install, came quickly and works perfectly with my old DLP TV and my XBox One. Wish these items were a little less expensive, but still way cheaper than a new TV!! I am happy and would buy again if I had too :)

It works OK with the major issue being the display of the input and output format. I have an Xfinity DVR cable box feeding the device. Many times an hour the input format and output format will be displayed in the left top quarter of the TV. There needs to be a means to prevent this from occurring. The information is handy when setting the device up, but after that, it is a complete nuisance. Also, If you pause, fast forward, of rewind the DVR, there is an audio noise that is very annoying. I end up having to mute the TV during those periods.

I have a 65 inch Mitsubishi 1080i projection TV, model WS-65711 that just keeps going strong. Problem is it doesn’t have HDMI inputs so I could not connect my Roku 3 to it. Bought this product with my fingers crossed based on some of the reviews - and you know what? It works perfectly! I have been able to connect the Roku, my Xfinity DVR box, and my Panasonic Blu-ray player. All 3 of them have worked perfectly with this box.Set up was a little tricky in that this TV only reads 480p and 1080i through the DTV input. So when I connected it up initially I did have a picture, but it was only 480 P. There is a button on the box to change resolutions, but once my TV doesn’t get a signal it gives you a blue screen and continued pressing of the button doesn’t register with the TV. So I needed to switch back and forth on the TV inputs so that it would attempt to reacquire a signal as I pushed the button until I got to the 1080i output.Bottom line is, forget all the reviews that says this thing doesn’t work, or wouldn’t work with a Blu-ray player due to copyright protection issues. Probably more likely due to operator error. With a little patience and fiddling this box is the answer to your lack of HDMI problems.

It does what it says it will do. However. If I watch an SD Channel, it stretches it in a way that looks bad. Additionally, my whites are a bit murky and all of my reds are purple. It's selective on colors, so I cannot correct it on my television. As a comparison, I've used my Wii U Gamepad, which mirrors the screen on Netflix, to try to correct the color. My television has Netflix built in, which looks perfect as it's not going through this.All in all, I'm happy that this did the trick. My TV's HDMI went out. But I'm looking for a better solution as the color issue is driving me nuts and it's compromising the quality of what I'm watching through it in annoying little ways. Basically, my television deserves better.

We ordered these boxes to use when we installed Xfinity X1 service in our home. We wanted a way to connect our non-HDMI televisions to the HDMI outputs of the X1 settop boxes. I am pleased to say that these E-More boxes are now installed and are working perfectly!! When we installed them, we took them out of the box, wired them in, went through selecting the proper resolution for the particular tv set and we were in business!! Done in a matter of minutes with no hiccups at all.I rely heavily on the ratings and reviews for products when I buy things, especially electronics, and the research I did in selecting these E-More boxes was no exception. Given the excellent results that we had when we installed these boxes, I felt compelled to write my own review to let others know that this product is very high quality and works exactly as advertised. We could not be more pleased with this product! We now have all the X1 features for our older non-HDMI TVs and we did not have to plunk down hundreds (or thousands) of dollars for new HDMI TV sets! Thank You to E-More and Amazon for providing such a cost-effective way to solve our problem!
