PureBites Beef Jerky Dog Treats

The pieces are a bit large so I tend to cut them in half or even into quarters - even for my larger (140#) dog. The dogs are still happy even with the smaller pieces. Plus I can tell by the sounds that the pieces are still crunchy and dry enough to require actual chewing, which was one of the reasons for ordering jerky treats.The reasons I'm removing a star are because of having to cut the pieces (which, BTW, is far easier with poultry shears if you have them) and because many pieces have visible blobs of fat and those pieces tend to feel like they've been well greased. That said, those are just inconveniences and not anything that'd stop me from reordering, I see them as just annoyances though they might break the deal for others.

These smell and taste amazing to dogs. They’re nothing but pure beef and not just some flavored cookie and my dog definitely prefers this taste. The smell alone drives him absolutely nuts. The one downside is that these are not the easiest/fastest to break up and they aren’t a soft treat so they aren’t really ideal for training unless you have a lot of time before hand to carefully chop up a bunch of strips into smaller pieces. Even then I’d be a bit careful of them just swallowing a small piece without chewing just out of excitement— these jerky strips are really that tasty. But we don’t mind the size, we bought these just to feed as a healthy treat he loves!! He also loves the smaller cube shaped liver treats this company makes and those are definitely ideal for training! We’ve never had him not go absolutely crazy over purebites products. He loves them all.

We rescued a 9 year old Minpin named Coopy in June, & by July, he had a bought of pancreatitis, which left him diabetic. These treats are his favorite, & being all meat, they're a great treat for even for puppers on very strict diets. He tears through one pretty quickly, but that's just the nature of this particular little beast.They are a little greasy feeling, and they aren't odorless, but they don't smell bad at all. Coopy recommends, & we will definitely continue to order these.

My dogs know the sound of The crinkling of this bag of treats over all the other noises from the bags of treats! They go nuts over them I cut them in little strips because my dogs are small ! I have some heavy duty yard clippers that I use . They are not satisfied until they get one of these at the end of each meal they will sit and look at the treat cabinet and bark !

My dog enjoys jerky treats and we have to be careful with his diet so we always get all natural pure treats. For whatever reason he goes crazy for these treats. They do have a strong aroma and he can’t get one quick enough. He’s actually going outside, turning around coming back in expecting to be rewarded.

I had to place the order for a subscription so that I don't run out of these treats. It has become a tradition in our house that they (3 rescue dogs) get their Beef Jerky treats every night or we get the why not treatment. My dogs are usually pretty well behaved but now I have to count my fingers after giving the pack their treats

My dogs really loved these. They're not so much "jerky" as a very lightweight crackly treat. They're quite greasy to the touch, and I didn't like the smell at all, and I was afraid that they might be too "sharp" for inside my dogs' mouths. But, again, the pups loved them.

Your dog will love these. Well mine does. Reason why I buy them here is price plus my local pet store only carries the small size packages.

My dog loves these. 1 ingredient makes me happy. They are very very greasy. I don’t find them jerky like. They are more of a hard thick treat. I’ve only used jerky that was chewy before. Bag says min 5% fat. No max fat listed, but they are very greasy so likely not that healthy
