The Complete Book of Porsche 911: Every Model Since 1964 (Complete Book Series) Hardcover – July 30, 2019

I'm glad I got this. It tells the whole history of the Porsche 911 up to the 992 type for 2020 in the edition I got. If you like or want to know more about 911s, this is a good read. It's a big book so requires some effort to hold and read. Provides technical data regarding the various versions over the years. Pictures, nearly all in color, are well captioned. When reading picture captions realize that because of the practical aspects of placement in the book, they may be a page out of sync with the text.

Really enjoyed this book. The first of my Porsche collection, but a great book for any 911 fan. Goes through much of the history of the 911 with some cool pictures to go with it. A good mix between written content and pictures. Would recommend.

Heavy! A bit pricey, but a lovely coffee table book for the sports car enthusiast.

The coverage is outstanding for the early 911's. As you progress through the years, too much emphasis is placed on the racing and limited production models. The 992, while addressed, is little more than a review of press releases. Really, REALLY good, but not quite great.
